JESUS IS WAITING
“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and
who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.”
Isaiah
6:8 KJV
Jesus
called me to be a missionary on October 4, 1998. At the end of the service during the invitation
time, I surrendered to be a missionary.
Pastor David prayed a beautiful prayer for me and told me not to wait
until I knew what God wanted me to do but to start telling people Jesus loves
them.
Jesus
doesn’t call everyone to go to a different country but He does call everyone to
serve Him right where we live. Have you
answered the call to serve Him? Jesus is
waiting for everyone to surrender their heart and life to Him. Are you willing to get out of your comfort
zone and serve the One Who loves you?
Mary
Haughton Brown wrote “I’ll Go Where You Want Me to Go”. We sing this hymn of surrender but do we
really mean it? Have you surrendered
your heart and your life to Jesus? If
not, why haven’t you? Jesus left His
home, His Father and all He had to come to earth for us. Will you say yes to Jesus today?
