EVERYTHING
“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your
sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like
crimson, they shall be as wool.”
Isaiah
1:18 KJV
Elvina
Mable Hall wrote one of my favorite hymns that brings tears of gratitude to my
eyes for what Jesus did for me. “Jesus Paid It All.” I’m so glad these words are true. “Jesus paid it all, All to Him I owe; Sin had
left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow.” What a precious loving Saviour we have.
There
is nothing we could ever do to be clean enough or good enough to go to
Heaven. We can’t work for it. We can’t buy our way into Heaven. It is only through the redeeming cleansing
blood of Jesus that we can be saved and spend eternity in Heaven with Jesus.
Do
you understand yet how much Jesus loves you?
He allowed them to beat Him beyond recognition, spit on Him, curse Him,
mock Him and nail Him to the old rugged cross.
He could have come down from the cross.
All the nails in the world couldn’t have kept Him on the cross but He
stayed on the cross for us.
Rev.
Ray Overholt wrote a heart touching hymn about our precious Saviour “Ten
Thousand Angels”. “He could have called
ten thousand angels To destroy the world and set Him free. He could have called
ten thousand angels, But He died alone for you and me.” Thank God for the love of our Saviour.
Yes,
everything we have belongs to Jesus. He
should have first priority in our heart, in our life, in our time and in
everything we do. If ever someone
deserves to be honored, loved and praised, it is Jesus, the Saviour of the
world. All hail, King Jesus!
