HE
HOLDS OUR HAND
“The
other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But
he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the
nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my
hand into his side, I will not believe.”

Thomas
Dorsey wrote
a beautiful hymn about Jesus holding our hand "Precious Lord,
Take My Hand". “Precious Lord, take my hand, Lead me on, let
me stand, I am tired, I am weak, I am worn; Through the storm,
through the night, Lead me on to the light:”
We
are living in a world that is filled with violence, alcohol, drugs,
murders, rapes, wife and children abuse and we desperately need our
precious Saviour to take our hand and hold it. This life is too hard
without Jesus. We can’t make it without Him. Without Jesus, we
aren’t living, we are just existing.
George
O. Webster wrote
one of my favorite hymns “I need Jesus, my need I now confess”.
The words in this hymn are so true. “I need Jesus, my need I now
confess; No friend like Him in times of deep distress; I need Jesus,
the need I gladly own; Though some may bear their load alone, Yet I
need Jesus.” Thank
You, Jesus, for loving us and holding our hand.
