HIS FORGIVING LOVE
“So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said
unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at
her. And again he stooped down, and
wrote on the ground. And they which
heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one,
beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the
woman standing in the midst. When Jesus
had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman,
where are those thine accusers? hath no
man condemned thee? She said, No man,
Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither
do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.”
John
8:7-11 KJV
When
Jesus was here on His mission, He was tempted just like we are but He never
sinned. He remained faithful to His
Father. O that you and I would follow
the example Jesus set for us and not sin.
As soon as we are tempted to do something wrong, we need to immediately
ask Jesus to help us.
If
someone asks you “Who is Jesus”, tell them that He is the Son of God and the
Saviour of the world. Not only does
Jesus give us love, He is love. There
are times we hurt Him and break His heart but because of His forgiving love, He
forgives us every time. His love for us
doesn’t depend on what we do or don’t do.
When
we hurt Jesus He doesn’t condemn us.
Jesus says to us what he said to the woman “Neither do I condemn thee:
go, and sin no more”. People sometimes
hurt us but instead of saying hateful words to them and hurting them by our
actions, we need to tell them we forgive them and pray for them.
Thank
You, Jesus, for Your forgiving love. I
love You so much. I long to see You face
to face. Thank You for dying for my
sins.
