EMOTIONALLY AND PHYSICALLY

"He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

Jesus knows how it feels to hurt physically and emotionally so He understands how we feel when we are hurting. It is because of the blood that flowed from His body and the stripes on His body that we are healed and are saved and will go to Heaven. I have said this countless times and I will keep saying it until God calls me home. No one loves you like Jesus loves you and nobody ever will. His love is unconditional and will last forever no matter how many times we hurt Him and fail Him.

Pastor Robert Lowry wrote one of my favorite hymns "Nothing but the Blood". "Nothing can for sin atone, Nothing but the blood of Jesus; Naught of good that I have done, Nothing but the blood of Jesus." Has the cleansing atoning blood been applied to your heart for the forgiveness of your sins? If not, I urge you to invite Jesus into your heart right now before it is too late. He is waiting for you to come to Him.
