TRUST JESUS

 

"The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him."

Rev. Vernon J. Charlesworth wrote a beautiful hymn about Jesus "A Shelter in the Time of Storm".  Yes, Jesus is our Shelter.  He is also our best Friend, our Comforter, and our loving Saviour.  I love the words in this hymn.

 

"The Lord's our rock, in Him we hide, A shelter in the time of storm; Secure whatever ill betide, A shelter in the time of storm. A Mighty Rock in a weary land, Cooling shade on the burning sand, Faithful guide for the pilgrim band- A shelter in the time of storm."

 

We love You, dear Jesus and we appreciate all You have done for us and all You do for us every day.  What a happy day it will be when I have the privilege of seeing You face to face.
