ALL OUR SINS
“Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul. While I live will I praise the LORD: I will
sing praises unto my God while I have any being.”
Psalms
146:1,2 KJV
When
we serve Jesus, it makes satan very angry and he will try to discourage us so
much that we stop serving Jesus. We must
not let that happen. We must stay on the
battlefield for Jesus just as He stayed on the cross for us. Don’t listen to satan when he says your sins
aren’t forgiven because he is a liar.
When
I first started writing devotions, satan would tell me Jesus doesn’t love me
and never will love me and will never forgive me for what I had done in the
past. I listened to the lies of satan
for several months and allowed him to discourage me so much that I was tempted
to stop writing devotions.
We
need to stop listening to the lies of satan and allowing him to discourage us. Jesus has warned us about the vicious attacks
of satan. We read in the Bible. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your
adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may
devour:” (1 Peter 5:8).
Horatio
G. Spafford wrote one of my favorite hymns “It Is Well With my Soul”. “My sin—oh, the bliss of this glorious
thought—My
sin—not in part but the whole, Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more, Praise
the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!”
When Jesus was crucified for us, He took all of our sins on Him.
If
you ever think nobody loves you, remember the cross. Do you understand yet that Jesus loves you
and that He loves you unconditionally?
You are precious to Him and He will always love you so don’t listen to the
lies of satan, listen to Jesus.
