SAD AND BROKENHEARTED
“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud
of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily
beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking
unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set
before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right
hand of the throne of God.”

12:1, 2

James Version
Helen
H. Lemmel wrote the inspiring hymn “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus”. If we would do what we sing in this beautiful
hymn, we wouldn’t have so many problems.
The words in this hymn are so true because keeping our eyes on Jesus
does make things a lot better. “Turn
your eyes upon Jesus, Look full in His wonderful face, And the things of earth
will grow strangely dim, In the light of His glory and grace.”
If
you are sad, brokenhearted and going through a dark valley, tell Jesus. He will pick you up and carry you until the
pain goes away. It is always safe to
trust Jesus because what He says, He will do.
We have a faithful, compassionate and loving Saviour Who loves us so
much He died for our sins on the cross.
Jesus doesn’t want you to be sad.
He is waiting for you to come to Him with His arms open wide. O how Jesus loves you!
