HOW WILL THEY KNOW
“That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal
life. For God so loved the world, that
he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not
perish, but have everlasting life. For
God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world
through him might be saved.”
John
3:15-17 KJV
I
had read these verses many times before I gave my heart and life to Jesus but I
didn’t know what they meant. I had been
told many times that I was a sinner and was going to hell if I wasn’t
saved. I didn’t know that Jesus loved me
because nobody had ever told me. I just
knew that I didn’t want to go to hell.
It
is very important that we give the plan of salvation when we are witnessing but
how will they know that Jesus loves them if we don’t tell them that He loves
them and then prove to them that He loves them by our kind and loving words and
actions. Everyone needs to know that
Jesus loves them.
Just
as we need to know that our Saviour loves us, Jesus also needs to know that we
love Him. When is the last time you told
Jesus that you love Him? He tells us that
He loves us every day. If you will
listen with your heart, you will hear Him say to you, “I love you so much I died
for you.”
Heavenly
Father, thank You for Jesus. Precious
Saviour, thank You for loving me so much that You died on the cross for my
sins. I love You, Heavenly Father. I love You, Jesus. I love You, Holy Spirit. May we always tell people how much Jesus
loves them and then prove it to them. In
Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.
