WAITING FOR YOU
“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and
who will go for us? Then said I, Here am
I; send me.”
Isaiah
6:8 KJV
Have
you ever said to Jesus “Here am I; send me”?
He is calling every one of us to go tell others of His unconditional
love. He may not send us to a different
country or even a different state but He is calling all of us to spread His
unconditional love to our family and our friends. Does our family see Jesus in us?
Mrs.
H. D. Carmichael wrote a beautiful hymn “Just For You”. “While the heroes storm the heights, In the
valley wet with dew Some wounded soul is waiting, Just for you, only you; Some
wounded soul is waiting, Just for you, only you.” God will use us to serve Jesus but we have to
be willing to serve Him.
When
I was going through those years of depression there was only one thing that
kept me alive because I wasn’t walking with Jesus at that time. I would listen to Joyce Landorf Heatherley, a
Christian speaker and author, teach on her tapes. She shared personal experiences from her
heart and it touched my heart.
Sermons
inspire me and convict me and I need them.
Thank God for our pastors.
However, personal testimonies touch my heart and let me know that
someone understands how it feels to go through dark valleys. No one understands how it feels to go through
dark valleys like Jesus. O how He loves
us!
Heavenly
Father, thank You for the times You have comforted me when I was going through
dark valleys. May we be willing to take
the unconditional love of Jesus to our family and friends and to everyone we
see. Help us to realize that someone is
waiting for us. In Jesus’ Name, I
pray. Amen.
