GOOD JOB
“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in
him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”
John
15:5 KJV
I
watched a family Christmas Program about a handicapped little boy. When the little boy won the race he was in,
his mother said “Good job, honey”. I
believe when you and I do things that make our Heavenly Father happy, He says
to us “Good job” and even when we fail to do things; He says “I still love you”.
I
believe there are times when we fail to do things because we don’t ask Jesus to
help us. Jesus has told us that without
Him, we can do nothing. When will we
learn to stop trying to do things and ask Jesus to help us? Jesus loves us and He will help us if we will
only ask Him to help us.
What
a tender loving and compassionate Heavenly Father we have because He really
does care about us. Father, I pray for
all who are discouraged, please comfort and encourage them. I pray for every pastor who is preaching the
good news of Jesus. Please encourage
them. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.
