ENCOURAGEMENT
“They helped every one his neighbour; and every one said to his
brother, Be of good courage. So the
carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, and he that smootheth with the hammer him
that smote the anvil, saying, It is ready for the sodering: and he fastened it
with nails, that it should not be moved.”
Isaiah
41:6,7 KJV
Everyone
needs to be encouraged. We are either
encouraging people or we are discouraging them.
Even Jesus needs to be encouraged.
Jesus will never have to die again but He has feelings and it breaks His
heart when people keep rejecting Him.
Also, caregivers need to be encouraged.
Our
pastors need to be encouraged. When is
the last time you invited your pastor to dinner? Your pastor may not be able to come but it
will encourage your pastor that you cared enough to give an invitation. We are either an encourager or we are a discourager. Which are you, an encourager or a discourager?
May
God help us to encourage our family, our friends and everyone we know. Remember, when we are kind and loving to
others, we are kind and loving to Jesus (Matthew 25:40). It is my heart’s desire to encourage Jesus
and everyone I know. I have nurses who
come to my home and they need encouragement.
