THE LOVING ARMS OF
JESUS
“The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting
arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say,
Destroy them.”
Deuteronomy
13:27
King
James Version
Frances
J. Crosby wrote a beautiful hymn about our precious Saviour “Safe in the Arms
of Jesus”. I love these words in this
inspiring hymn. “Safe in the arms of
Jesus, Safe from corroding care, Safe from the world’s temptations; Sin cannot
harm me there. Free from the blight of sorrow, Free from my doubts and fears; Only
a few more trials, Only a few more tears!”
It
is very important that we allow Jesus to help us no matter what we are
doing. So many times we try to do things
in our own strength and then wonder why we can’t do them. We read in the Bible. “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that
abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me
ye can do nothing” (John 15:5).
Jesus
is able to carry us through all the dark valleys in our life and He will be
faithful to set us once again on the
mountain top of happiness. When
He was here on His mission, He grew tired and got discouraged so He understands
how we feel when we get tired and discouraged.
Allow Jesus to carry you through all the dark valleys in your life.
