DO WE ANSWER HIM

“Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.”

Psalm 27:7 KJV

We want God to answer us as soon as we pray and ask Him for something but do we answer Him when He asks us to do something for Him?  If we do answer our Heavenly Father, do we do what He wants us to do immediately or do we wait until it is convenient for us?  We need to do it when He asks us to do it.

There are times when parents ask their children to do something and their children tell them they will do it later because they are watching television.  I wonder how many times we have told our Heavenly Father by not shutting off the television and spreading the love of Jesus that we don’t care what He wants.

Heavenly Father, thank You for all You have done for us.  Please forgive us for the times we don’t answer You or do what You want us to do.  You are a merciful compassionate Father and I love You and appreciate You.  Thank You for adopting me into Your family.  In Jesus’ Name, I pray.  Amen.
