WE TAKE THEM BACK

“Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.”

Psalm 55:22 KJV

I wonder how many times we take our burdens to the Lord and instead of leaving them with the Lord, we take them back again.  There are times when we have bad days because we don’t leave our burdens with the Lord.  A mother said to her child “I don’t think you will ever learn to trust me”.                      

If we will listen with our heart, we will hear God saying to us “Will you ever learn to trust Me”?  Rev. Charles Albert Tindley wrote one of my favorite hymns about leaving our burdens with the Lord “Leave It There”.  Instead of taking our burdens back and trying to fix them, we need to leave them with the Lord.

Heavenly Father, forgive us for not always trusting You.  We’re sorry.  Help us to leave our burdens with You because You are a tender loving and compassionate Father and You will help us.  Thank You, dear Father.  I love You, Heavenly Father.  I love You, Jesus.  I love You, Holy Spirit.  In Jesus’ Name, I pray.  Amen.
