WE HAVE BEEN BLESSED

“Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.”

Romans 4:7 KJV

One of the definitions for blessed in Webster’s Dictionary is “enjoying spiritual happiness and the favor of God”.  Jesus died on the cross and shed His precious blood for us.  When we repent of our sins, ask God to forgive us and invite Jesus into our heart to be our Saviour our sins our forgiven and covered.

It brings tears to my eyes every time I think about my precious Saviour being beaten beyond recognition because of my sins.  We read in the Bible “And almost all things are by the law purged by blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission” (Hebrews 9:22).  Thank God for the blood of Jesus.

If you have never invited Jesus into your heart, I urge you to repent of your sins, ask God to forgive you and invite Jesus into your heart to be your personal Saviour.  Your family and friends can’t do it for you as much as they want to because salvation is personal between Jesus and you.

Heavenly Father, I pray for every person who has never said yes to Jesus.  May today be the day they humble themselves and invite Jesus into their heart.  Thank You for loving us so much You gave Jesus to die on the cross for our sins.  I love You, Heavenly Father.  In Jesus’ Name, I pray.  Amen.
