OUR COMFORTERS

“Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, Comfort your hearts, stablish you in every good word and work.”

2 Thessalonians 2:16,17 KJV

We are living in a world that is filled with violence, hatred and all other things that hurt our Comforters.  When God made the earth things were peaceful and everything was just as He wanted it to be.  However, when Adam and Eve disobeyed God, sin entered the world and we have been in turmoil ever since.

O how God and Jesus love us.  God loves us so much He gave Jesus to die on the cross for our sins.  Jesus loves us so much He allowed them to crucify Him on the cross and He paid the penalty for our sins.  When we are hurting, They comfort us as They tenderly dry our tears with kisses.

Heavenly Father, we love You and appreciate all You have done for us.  You are a tender compassionate and caring Father.  Precious Saviour, how I love You.  It fills my heart with joy and happiness to know that one day I will see You face to face and will be with You forever!   In Jesus’ Name, I pray.  Amen.
