ONE HAPPY DAY
“After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could
number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the
throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their
hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth
upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.”
Revelation
7:9,10 KJV
Eliza
E. Hewitt wrote “Beautiful Robes”. It is
a hymn that gives us hope and comfort. “We
shall walk with Him in white, By the fountains of delight, Where the Lamb His
ransomed ones shall lead, For His blood shall wash each stain, Till no spot of
sin remain, And the soul forevermore is freed.”
Jesus
is coming back for us and we will be reunited with our loved ones. Pastor J. Wilbur Chapman wrote the hymn “One
Day”. “One day the trumpet will sound
for His coming, One day the skies with His glories will shine; Wonderful day,
my belovèd ones bringing; Glorious Savior, this Jesus is mine!”
When we go to a wedding, we stand when the bride
walks down the aisle. When Jesus comes
back for us, we won’t stand up. We will
kneel in respect to our Saviour. “For it
is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every
tongue shall confess to God” (Romans 14:11).
If you are a parent, then you know how it hurts you
and breaks your heart when people hurt your children. When Jesus was crucified for our sins, it
broke the heart of God. When He sees
people reject His Son, it hurts our tender loving compassionate Father and it breaks
His heart. Let’s stop hurting God.
