WHAT ARE WE SAYING
“And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary , there they crucified him, and the malefactors,
one on the right hand, and the other on the left. Then said Jesus, Father,
forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and
cast lots.”
Luke 23:33,34 KJV
Evangelist
Gordon Jensen wrote the beautiful hymn “Written In Red”. “In letters of crimson God wrote His love On
a hillside so long, long ago For you and for me Jesus died And love’s greatest
story was told I love you, I love you That’s
what Calvary said I love you, I love you I love you written in red.”
God and Jesus
proved how much They love us when Jesus died on the cross for our sins. What are we saying to Them by our words and by
our actions? Do They know that we love
Them? We can say anything but actions
speak louder than words. They can see in
our heart and They know if we love Them.
The Bible
tells us how we can prove to Jesus that we love Him. “And the King shall answer
and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one
of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me” (Matthew 25:40). If we are kind and loving to others, we are
kind and loving to Jesus.
May God help
us to love unconditionally as Jesus loves us.
Loving one another unconditionally is not an option, it is a commandment. “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye
love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another” (John
13:34). O how much Jesus loves you and
me.
