WAIT FOR JESUS

“Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.”

Psalm 27:14 KJV

There are times when we have bad days because we don’t wait for Jesus.  We should never do anything without waiting for Jesus to lead us because without Jesus we can’t do anything.  Not only is He our Shepherd, He is also our Guide.  The Bible makes it clear that we are to wait for Jesus.

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31).  Are we waiting for Jesus to lead us or do we do things the way we want to do them?  Remember, Jesus knows what is best.

Heavenly Father, please help us to wait for Jesus to lead us instead of doing things the way we want to do them.  Father, I pray for every person who hasn’t invited Jesus into their heart.  May today be the day they open the door to their heart and let Jesus come in.  In Jesus’ Name, I pray.  Amen.
