GOD’S PROTECTION

“I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.  Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.  He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.”

Psalms 91:2- 4 KJV

Pastor Johnson Oatman, Jr. wrote “Under His Wings”.  I’m so glad the words in this hymn are true.  “A wonderful promise God’s given, What joy to the Christian it brings; That all who are striving for Heaven Find refuge under His wings.”  Yes, we have God’s protection from this world of violence.

It doesn’t matter how many times satan attacks us, we have refuge from satan and from the world under God’s wings.  We have a tender compassionate loving Heavenly Father Who loves us so much He gave His Son to die for us.  We can trust God to protect us from danger.

Heavenly Father, thank You for protecting us.  I love You and I appreciate all You have done for me.  Thank You for adopting me into Your family and for the privilege You have given me to serve Your Son.  Please comfort and encourage all who are lonely and hurting.  In Jesus’ Name, I pray.  Amen.
