THE JOY OF KNOWING JESUS

“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”

Floyd W. Hawkins wrote the beautiful and inspiring hymn “I’ve Discovered the Way of Gladness”  It is one of my favorite hymns.  Have you discovered the way of gladness?  Please join me in singing this hymn.  We can search for happiness and joy in the world but it is only in Jesus we find real joy. 

“I’ve discovered the way of gladness, I’ve discovered the way of joy, I’ve discovered relief from sadness, ‘Tis a happiness without alloy; I’ve discovered the fount of blessing, I’ve discovered the Living Word. ‘Twas the greatest of all discoveries When I found Jesus, my Lord.”

You may be saved but do you know Jesus?  If we want to know someone we have to spend time with the person.  How much time do you spend with Jesus?  Does Jesus have first place in your heart and life?  Jesus deserves to have first place in our heart and life after all He has done for us.
