NAILED TO THE CROSS
“Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul. While I live will I praise the LORD: I will
sing praises unto my God while I have any being.”
Psalms
146:1,2 KJV
Horatio
G. Spafford wrote a beautiful hymn “It Is Well with My Soul”. I’m so glad the words in this hymn are
true. “My sin—oh, the bliss of this
glorious thought— My sin—not in part but the whole, Is nailed to the cross, and
I bear it no more, Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!”
Philip
P. Bliss wrote “Free from the Law”. “Once
for all, O sinner, receive it, Once for all, O brother, believe it; Cling to
the cross, the burden will fall, Christ hath redeemed us once for all.” Jesus paid the price for your sins and for my
sins. Have you invited Jesus into your
heart?
Evangelist
Harry D. Clarke wrote “Into My Heart”. “Into
my heart, into my heart, Come into my heart, Lord Jesus; Come in today, come in
to stay; Come into my heart, Lord Jesus.”
If you have never invited Jesus into your heart, I urge you to do it now
before it is too late. One day it will
be too late.
You
may be saved but does He have first place in your heart and life? Are you serving Him? If so, are you serving Him full time or just
when it is convenient? Our precious
Saviour gave His life for us. How can we
do less than serve Him even when it is inconvenient for us?
