ONE DAY

Pastor Charles A. Tindley wrote the hymn “We’ll Understand It Better By and By”.  “Trials dark on every hand, And we cannot understand All the ways that God could lead us To that blessèd promised land; But He guides us with His eye, And we’ll follow till we die, For we’ll understand it better by and by.”

Esther Kerr Rusthoi wrote one of my favorite hymns “IT WILL BE WORTH IT ALL”.  I love these words.  “It will be worth it all when we see Jesus, Life's trials will seem so small when we see Christ; One glimpse of His dear face all sorrow will erase, So bravely run the race till we see Christ.”

One day there will be no more murders, no more child abuse, no more elderly abuse and no more sorrow.  Think about it.  We are going to have the privilege of seeing Jesus face to face.  Carrie E. Breck wrote “Face to Face with Christ. My Savior”.  The words in this hymn fill my heart with happiness.   

“What rejoicing in His presence, When are banished grief and pain; When the crooked ways are straightened, And the dark things shall be plain.  Face to face—oh, blissful moment! Face to face—to see and know; Face to face with my Redeemer, Jesus Christ who loves me so.”  O how Jesus loves us.
