WE NEED TO STOP JUDGING

“Judge not, that ye be not judged.  For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.  And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?  Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?  Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.”
Matthew 7:1-5 KJV

All of us are guilty of judging someone and that includes me.  How dare we judge someone else when we do things and say things that hurt God?  None of us are perfect.  There was only one perfect Person Who ever lived or ever will live and His Name is Jesus.  Instead of judging, we need to pray for others.

Someone made this comment “He is guilty to doing this thing”.  Yet, the person who said this had just told a lie.  To God, sin is sin.  Jesus died for the liars just as He died for the murderers.  Lying is a sin just as killing someone is a sin.  The person who says “I have never told a lie” is probably not being truthful.

If people ask us how we feel and we tell them we feel wonderful but we aren’t feeling good, we are lying.  It’s time we stop judging others and start praying for them.  A pastor said in a sermon “If you will make sure your own heart is right before God, you won’t have the time to judge and condemn others”.

The only place people should be judged is in a court of law.  It is so easy to point the finger of guilt at someone.  It’s a lot harder to judge ourselves.  We need to stop judging people.  May God forgive us for judging others.
