We need to stop hurting Jesus. Every time we are unkind to someone we are hurting Jesus and I'm just as guilty as you are. I get upset when someone hurts me by saying unkind things to me.

What a privilege it is to be part of the family of God. None of us are perfect and we won't be until we get to Heaven. Bill and Gloria Gaither wrote a beautiful hymn "The Family of God". I love these words.

Jesus loves us so much and it breaks His heart when we are sad and discouraged. Jesus not only wants us to have a happy life, He wants us to have a life that is filled with happiness and unconditional love.

We know that Jesus loves because He proved it when He died on the cross for us. What are we doing to prove to Jesus how much we love Him?

Jesus should be first in our heart, in our life and in everything we do. The person who says "I don't have time for Jesus" needs to make time for Jesus.

May God have mercy on us and forgive us not not putting Jesus first in our heart and in everything we say and do.

We point the finger of guilt at others but neglect to point it at ourselves. None of us are perfect and that includes me. Just because I write daily devotions doesn't mean I never hurt people. There are times when I get upset with others and say harsh words that I should not say and then I have to tell God I'm sorry and ask Him to forgive me.
Instead of hurting people let's become encouragers to one another.

Heavenly Father, please forgive me for times I say things that hurt You. I'm sorry. I pray for all who are discouraged and brokenhearted. Please comfort and encourage them as You have done for me so many times. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

There is nothing we could ever do that would save us. It took His precious atoning blood that He shed for your sins and for my sins on the cross to save us and allow us to go to Heaven.

If you ever think nobody loves you, remember the cross and the excruciating pain that Jesus endured because of your sins and my sins.

What a healing balm it is to our weary battle scarred heart to know joy does come in the morning. There has been several times in my life when I went to bed discouraged and brokenhearted. However, as soon as I put my head on my pillow, I felt the loving arms of Jesus go around me as He comforted and encouraged me.

If you're hurting today and feel like going to bed and staying there, tell Jesus. He will pick you up in His loving arms and will carry you until the pain heartache and pain goes away. O how I love Jesus!

Just as Jesus stayed on the cross for us, we must stay on the battlefield for Him. It makes satan very angry when we serve Jesus and satan will do all he can do to discourage us from serving Jesus.

My sister has decorated my home with beautiful things. Our precious Saviour has decorated our mansions with His own blood and with unconditional love.

One happy day, if we have accepted Jesus as our personal Saviour we will go to Heaven and live in the mansions He has prepared for us. Are you going to be there? Have you invited Jesus into your heart to be your personal Saviour?

My birthday is July 7 but I have another birthday. On August 14, 1980, I confessed my sins, asked God to forgive me and invited Jesus into my heart to be my personal Saviour.
