Civilla D. Martin wrote one of my favorite hymns "HIS EYE IS ON THE SPARROW". I love the words in this beautiful hymn.

"Why should I feel discouraged, Why should the shadows come, Why should my heart be lonely, And long for Heav’n and home, When Jesus is my portion? My constant friend is He:

His eye is on the sparrow, And I know He watches me; His eye is on the sparrow, And I know He watches me. I sing because I’m happy, I sing because I’m free, For His eye is on the sparrow, And I know He watches me."

Our precious Saviour cares about us and He loves us so much He died for our sins and paid the price that we never could have paid.
I love You, dear Jesus. Thank You for dying on the cross for me. One happy joyous day I will have the privilege of seeing You face to face. How I long for that day.
