OUR DEPENDABLE LIGHT

"Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."

Philip P. Bliss wrote one of my favorite hymns "The Light of the World is Jesus". I love these words in this beautiful hymn. "No darkness have we who in Jesus abide; The Light of the world is Jesus! We walk in the light when we follow our Guide! The Light of the world is Jesus!

Come to the light, ’tis shining for thee; Sweetly the light has dawned upon me; Once I was blind, but now I can see: The Light of the world is Jesus!"

Thank You, Jesus, for being our Light in this world of darkness and hatred. I love You, dear Jesus, and I long for the day when I will have the privilege of seeing You face to face.

Thank You for dying for my sins and for paying the price that I could never have paid.
