 OUR BEST FRIEND

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."

John 15: 13
King James Version

Jesus proved Himself to be our best Friend when He allowed them to crucify Him on the cross for our sins. If you ever think nobody loves you or cares about you remember the pain and agony that Jesus endured on the cross for us. Nobody loves you like Jesus loves you and nobody ever will. I love You, Jesus.

 OUR SAVIOUR

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

John 3:16
King James Version

Our Heavenly Father loves us so much that He gave His beloved Son to die on the cross for our sins so we may be saved. Jesus loves us so much He walked that long lonely road to Calvary and died on the cross for your sins and for my sins.

No one loves us like our Heavenly Father and Jesus love us and nobody ever will. Their love is unconditional and will never end. They loved us yesterday. They love us today and They will love us forever. There is nothing we could ever do that would make Them stop loving us.

Do you know our precious Saviour? Has there ever been a time in your life when you admitted you were a sinner and invited Jesus to come into your heart to be your personal Saviour? If not, I urge you, I plead with you to invite Jesus into your heart before it is too late.
One day it will be too late to invite Jesus into your heart. Don't miss out on spending eternity with the One Who loves you so much He died for you.

 WE CAN TRUST HIM

"Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD."

Psalms 31:24
King James Version

We need Jesus because we can't do anything without Him. If Jesus is not our personal Saviour, we aren't living we are just existing. We read in the Bible.
"I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing." (John 15:5)

There are days when I am in so much pain that I can't get out of bed without Jesus helping me. Thank You, Jesus, for loving us unconditionally, for helping us and for never leaving us. I love You, dear Jesus and I appreciate You.

 ARE WE FOLLOWING

"And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men."

Matthew 4:18, 19
King James Version

Robert Lowry wrote the beautiful hymn "Follow Follow I Would Follow Jesus". I love the words in this heart touching hymn.

"Down in the valley with my Savior I will go, Where the flow'rs are blooming and the sweet waters flow; Everywhere He leads me I will follow, follow on, Walking in His footsteps till the crown be won.

Down in the valley with my Savior I will go, Where the storms are sweeping and the dark waters flow; With His hand to lead me I will never, never fear, Danger cannot fright me if my Lord is near."

Are we following Jesus and trusting Him to take care of us? If we aren't following Him and trusting Him to take care of us, we are hurting our precious Saviour and breaking His heart.

After all that He has done for us, He deserves to be happy. Thank You, dear Jesus, for dying for us, for loving us unconditionally and for caring what happens to us. I love You and appreciate You.

 ANYTHING

"And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God."

Luke 18:27
King James Version

We read in the Bible. "But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible." (Matthew 19:26)

Eugene L. Clark wrote the hymn "Nothing Is Impossible". I'm so glad the words in this hymn are true. "I read in the Bible the promise of God That nothing for him is too hard; Impossible things he has promised to do If we faithfully trust in his word.

Nothing is impossible when you put your trust in God, `Nothing is impossible when you’re trusting in his word; Hearken to the voice of God to thee, “Is there anything too hard to me?” Then put your trust in God alone and rest upon his word, For ev’rything, O ev’rything! Yes ev’rything is possible with God!"

Thank You, Heavenly Father, for loving us unconditionally and for all You do for us. We love You and appreciate You.

 DO WE

"And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might."

Deuteronomy 6:5
King James Version

Do we love Him the way we should love Him? Does He come first in our heart, in our life and in everything we say and do?

Jesus has told us that we are to love one another unconditionally as He loves us. Can we honestly say we love one another unconditionally?

I have to be honest and tell you there are times when I say unkind words and have to tell God I'm sorry and ask Him to forgive me.

When satan attacks us, we need to immediately ask Jesus to help us be kind to one another. We can't do it by ourselves. We need Jesus to help us and He will help us if we will ask Him.

Thank You, Jesus, for helping us and for caring when we are hurting. You are a tender loving Saviour and we appreciate You so much.

 DON'T GIVE UP

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:"

1 Peter 5:8
King James Version

I have been sick for over two weeks. I know that it is just satan trying to keep me from serving Jesus. We must not let that happen. When satan attacks us, we must cry out to Jesus and ask Him to help us. We have a faithful loving Saviour and there is nothing He can't do. He will protect us from the vicious attack of satan. Thank You, Jesus, for loving us and for caring what happens to us. I love You.

 ARE YOU TIRED

"“And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.”

Exodus33:14
King James Version

Ralph Carmichael wrote one of my favorite hymns "Reach Out to Jesus". I love the words in this heart touching hymn.

"Is your burden heavy as you bear it all alone? Does the road you travel, harbor dangers yet unknown? Are you growin' weary in the struggle of it all? Jesus will help you when on His name you call.

He's always there hearing every prayer, faithful and true Walking by our side, in his love we hide all the day through When you get discouraged just remember what to do Reach out to Jesus, he's reaching out to you."

Thank You, Jesus for giving us rest when we grow weary. We love You and appreciate all You do for us.

 HE GIVES US REST

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls."

Matthew 11:28, 29
King James Version

Oswald J. Smith wrote the hymn "The Savior can lift every burden". I love the words in this beautiful hymn. "The Savior can lift every burden, The heavy as well as the light; His strength is made perfect in weakness, In Him there is power and might."

There is nothing our Saviour can't do. He cheers us when we are sad. He heals us when we are sick. He comforts us we feel like giving up and going to bed. He never leaves us, not even for one minute. When we are discouraged, He picks us up in His arms and carries us until the pain goes away.

I've said this many times and I'll keep saying it until God calls me to Heaven. No love loves us like Jesus loves us and no one ever will. Thank You, Jesus, for loving us and for never leaving us. I love You.

 HIS HEART IS BROKEN

"And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day."

Genesis 1:31
King James Version

When God looks around now, His heart is broken because of the things He sees and the things He hears. It is time we stop hurting our Heavenly Father and do and say things that will make Him happy.

 OUR DELIVERER

"And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me."

Psalms 50:15
King James Version

William A. Ogden wrote a beautiful hymn "HE IS ABLE TO DELIVER THEE". I love the words in this hymn. We have a loving compassionate Heavenly Father.

"’Tis the grandest theme, let the tidings roll, To the guilty heart, to the sinful soul; Look to God in faith, He will make thee whole, Our God is able to deliver thee.

’Tis the grandest theme through the ages rung; ’Tis the grandest theme for a mortal tongue; ’Tis the grandest theme that the world e’er sung, Our God is able to deliver thee."

Thank You, Heavenly Father, for loving us unconditionally and for giving Your beloved Son to die on the cross for our sins. I love You, Heavenly Father. I love You, Jesus. I love You, Holy Spirit. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

 THE MOST EXPENSIVE PRICE

"For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."

1 Corinthians 6:20
King James Version

The most expensive price ever paid for something was when Jesus was crucified on the cross and He shed His precious blood for your sins and for my sins. If you ever think nobody loves you, remember the cross and the pain and agony that Jesus suffered on the cross for us.

 GOD IS WITH US

"And, behold, God himself is with us for our captain, and his priests with sounding trumpets to cry alarm against you. O children of Israel, fight ye not against the LORD God of your fathers; for ye shall not prosper."

2 Chronicles 13:12
King James Version

Franklin David Barnes wrote the hymn "FORWARD". "Forward be our watchword, Onward in His name; Faithful in His service, Ever true remain; Jesus is our leader, At our army’s head; Never shrink nor falter, By our captain led;

Soon the warfare over, Ended death and pain, We with Christ forever, In His kingdom reign."

One happy day, there will be no more death or pain when Jesus comes back for us. God Himself is going to dry our tears with compassionate kisses of love.

Never forget that God loves you so much He gave His beloved Son to die on the cross for your sins. Nobody loves you like Jesus loves you and nobody ever will. Our Saviour's love for us is beyond compare.

We know that Jesus loves us but how much do we love Him? Do we love Him? If we do love Him, what are we doing to prove to Him we love Him?

 ARE WE WILLING

''Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;"

Matthew 9:37
King James Version

There are many people who do not know that Jesus loves them. Are we willing to go tell them? Jesus left His Father, His Home and all that He had to come to earth and die on the cross for our sins so we can be saved and go to Heaven.

May God help us to get out of our comfort zone and tell everyone we see that Jesus loves them. If we want others to be kind and loving to us, we need to be kind and loving to them.

"A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh."

Ezekiel 36:26
King James Version

When Jesus saves us, He takes the stony heart out and gives us a new heart, a heart that is filled with unconditional love.
Thank You, Jesus for giving us a new heart and thank You for never leaving us, not even for one minute. I love You and appreciate all You have done for me.

 JESUS REALLY CARES

"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."

1 Peter 5::7
King James Version

Rev. Frank E. Graeff wrote a beautiful hymn about our precious Saviour "DOES JESUS CARE?" I'm so glad the words in this hymn are true.

"Does Jesus care when my way is dark With a nameless dread and fear? As the daylight fades into deep night shades, Does He care enough to be near?

Oh yes, He cares, I know He cares, His heart is touched with my grief; When the days are weary, the long nights dreary, I know my Savior cares."

Jesus, thank You for caring and for never leaving us. You are so precious and I love You, dear Jesus.

 THE LOVE OF JESUS

"And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God."

Ephesians 3:19
King James Version

Fanny Crosby wrote a beautiful hymn about Jesus "GREAT IS THE LOVE OF JESUS". The words in this hymn are so true.

"Great is the love that brought me Out of the path of sin; Great is the love that gave me Pardon and peace within."

O how much Jesus loves us! No one loves us like Jesus loves us and no one ever will. The love of our Saviour is beyond compare. He loved us yesterday. He loves us today and He will love us forever.

There is nothing you could ever do that would make Jesus stop loving you. One happy day we will have the privilege of seeing Him face to face when He comes for for us. Are you ready to meet Him if He comes while you are reading this?

 ONLY ONE WAY

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

John 14:6
King James Version

People try to earn their way into Heaven and they try to work their way into Heaven by doing good deeds. However, there is only one way into Heaven and it is through the precious blood of Jesus that He shed for us on the cross.

Are you ready to go to Heaven if Jesus should come back for us today? If we have let resentment, unforgiveness, bitterness, jealousy and all other things that hurt God to remain in our heart, we are not ready to go.

 JESUS UNDERSTANDS

"He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not."

Isaiah 53:3
King James Version

Jesus understands how much it hurts when people say unkind things and do things that hurt us. Jesus has been ridiculed, scorned, and beaten beyond recognition so He does know how we feel when people aren't kind to us.

How about us? If we want people to be kind and loving to them, we need to be kind and loving to them. It is so true that we get back what we give out.

Let's start encouraging one another instead of saying and doing things that hurt one another. It will make Jesus happy. Making Jesus happy should be the heart's desire of every Christian.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

Romans 12:1, 2
King James Version

Mary D. James wrote a beutiful hymn about our precious Saviour "ALL FOR JESUS". I love the words in this inspiring hymn.
"All for Jesus, all for Jesus! All my being’s ransomed powers: All my thoughts and words and doings, All my days and all my hours.
Let my hands perform His bidding, Let my feet run in His ways; Let my eyes see Jesus only, Let my lips speak forth His praise."

Jesus has done so much for us that we should so everything we can do for Him. He should have first place in our heart, in our life and in everything we do.
