 DO WE DO IT

"Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not."

Romans 12:14
King James Version

Do we bless those who hurt us and forgive them as Jesus forgives us when we hurt Him? If not, we are hurting Him and breaking His heart. How dare you and I not forgive those who hurt us when Jesus forgives us when we hurt Him!

One day we will stand before our Heavenly Father and give an account of the way we treat His beloved Son. May God have mercy on us if we are hurting Jesus and our Heavenly Father.

I love You, Heavenly Father. I love You, Jesus. I love You, Holy Spirit. If you have never asked God to forgive you for your sins and invited Jesus into your heart to be your Saviour, I urge you do it even as you read this devotion. Jesus loves you so much. Don't miss out on spending eternity with Jesus.

 JESUS KNOWS

"The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him."

Nahum 1:7
King James Version

Jesus knows everything about us. He knows what is in our heart and I think we hurt Him and break His heart many times when we refuse to forgive those who hurt us.

Think where we would be today if Jesus had refused to forgive us for crucifying Him on the cross when He shed His blood for our sins.

No one loves us like Jesus loves us and no one ever will. We read in the Bible. "The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee." Jeremiah 31:3

Just because I write daily devotions does not mean that I don't make mistakes and sometimes hurt Jesus and break His heart because there ae times when I say unkind words to someone that hurts me.

May God help all of use to love one another uncondtionally as Jesus has commanded us to love each other. I love You, Jesus, amd I appreciate all You have done for me.

 WE CAN TRIST HIM

"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:"

Philippians 1:6
King James Version

Rev. John Hart Stockton wrote the beautiful hymn "Only Trust Him". I love the words in this hymn.

"Come, every soul by sin oppressed; There’s mercy with the Lord, And He will surely give you rest By trusting in His Word.

Only trust Him, only trust Him, Only trust Him now; He will save you, He will save you, He will save you now."

Thank You, Jesus, for all You have done for us. You are a loving and compassionate Saviour and I love You and appreciate You.

 IT BREAKS HIS HEART

"Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder. And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy. Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?"

Matthew 26:36-40
King James Version

How much time do we give Jesus? It breaks His heart when we only give Him a few minutes during the day. May God help us to do things and say words that make Him happy. If ever someone deserves to be happy, it is Jesus!

He is the "KING OF KINGS AND LOIRD OF LORDS". Worthy is the Lamb of God. All hail, King Jesus! I love You so much and appreciate all You have done for me.

 EVERY PERSON

"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin."

1 John 1:7
King James Version

Susan L. Warner wrote a beautiful hymn about our Saviour "CLEANSING IN THE

BLOOD". I love the words in this hymn.
"O that I might now know Thy love, The riches of Thy grace so free; That I with all Thy saints might prove, There’s cleansing in the blood for me.

There’s cleansing in the blood, There’s cleansing in the blood; Just now I claim the promise mine, There’s cleansing in the blood for me."

Thank God for the cleansing atoning blood that Jesus shed for our sins on the cross. Isaac Watts wrote another one of my favorite hymns "ALAS! AND DID MY SAVIOR BLEED?"

"Alas! and did my Savior bleed And did my Sovereign die? Would He devote that sacred head For such a worm as I?

At the cross, at the cross where I first saw the light, And the burden of my heart rolled away, It was there by faith I received my sight, And now I am happy all the day!"

The cleansing blood of Jesus that He shed on the cross for us when He was crucified is available for every one of us so we can be saved and go to Heaven when we die.

If you have never admitted you are a sinner, asked God to forgive you and invited Jesus into your heart to be your personal Saviour, I urge you to di it even as you read this devotion. Don't miss out on spending eternity with Jesus. I love You, desr Jesus.

 HIS CLEANSING BLOOD

"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin."

1 John 1:7
King James Version

Susan L. Warner wrote a hymn about Jesus "CLEANSING IN THE BLOOD". I love the words in this hymn.

"O that I might now know Thy love, The riches of Thy grace so free; That I with all Thy saints might prove, There’s cleansing in the blood for me.

The world I now forever leave, And consecrate myself to Thee; I come in faith, for I believe There’s cleansing in the blood for me."

Thank God for the cleansing blood of Jesus that He shed for you and for me on the cross.
Fanny J. Crosby wrote a beautiful hymn about our precious and loving Saviour "Washed white as snow". I'm so glad the words in this hymn are true.

"Tho' my sins were once like crimson red, To the healing stream my feet were led; In the precious blood my Saviour shed He washed me white as snow.

At the door of faith I entered in, And to him confessed my guilt and sin; With his own dear hand he washed me clean, He washed me white as snow.

O my joyful song henceforth shall be, Tis the blood of Jesus cleanseth me, Cleanseth, cleanseth, O, yes, it cleanseth me."

Jesus, thank You for dying on the cross so we can have our sins forgiven and be saved and go to Heaven when we die. I love You and appreciate all You have done for me.

 IT BREAKS HIS HEART

"When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost."

John 19:30
King James Version

Miss Havergal wrote one of my favorite hymns "I GAVE MY LIFE FOR THEE". Jesus gave His life for us. What have we done for Him? The words in this beautiful hymn tell us how much Jesus loves us.

"I gave My life for thee, My precious blood I shed, That thou might ransomed be, And raised up from the dead.

I gave, I gave My life for thee, What hast thou given for Me? I gave, I gave My life for thee, What hast thou given for Me?"

What have we given for Jesus? How much time do we give Him? Have we given Him fist place in our heart, in our time and in our life? Have we told Him today that we love Him?

Jesus has feelings and He wants us to tell Him that we love Him. Are you hurting our Saviour and breaking His heart or are you making Him happy?

Precious Saviour, I love You so much and I appreciate all You have done for me. Thank You for dying for me, for loving me and for never leaving me.

 HIS PRECIOUS NAME

"The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe."

Proverbs 18:10
King James Version

Rev. William Clark Martin wrote a beautiful hymn about our Saviour "The Name of Jesus Is So Sweet". The words in this heart touching hymn are so true.

"The name of Jesus is so sweet, I love its music to repeat; It makes my joys full and complete, The precious name of Jesus.

"Jesus,” oh, how sweet the name! “Jesus,” ev'ry day the same; “Jesus,” let all saints proclaim Its worthy praise forever."

Robert Gay wrote the hymn "No Other Name But The Name Of Jesus". The words in this hymn are so true.

"No Other Name But The Name Of Jesus No Other Name But The Name Of The Lord No Other Name But The Name Of Jesus Is Worthy Of Glory And Worthy Of Honor And Worthy Of Power And All Praise

His Name Is Exalted Far Above The Earth His Name Is High Above The Heavens His Name Is Exalted Far Above The Earth Give Glory And Honor And Praise Unto His Name."

Jesus, we praise You and thank You for all You have done for us. Indeed, You are worthy to be praised and adored. I love You so much and look forward to the happy and joyous day when I will have the privilege of seeing You face to face.

 ARE WE WORKING FOR JESUS

"But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard."

Matthew 21:28
King Janes Version

Roy Evans wrote the hymn "A WORKER FOR JESUS". May God help all of us to be workers for Jesus.

"Make me a worker for Jesus, Faithful and ready and true; Asking the help of the Master For work He would have me do.

Make me a worker for Jesus, Taking my place in the fight; Giving my all to the Captain, Fighting for all that is right."

Jesus left His Father, His home and all that He had to come to earth and die on the cross for our sins so we should be willing to serve Him with all of our heart and all of our time.

To serve Jesus, we will have to get out of our comfort zone and go where He wants us to go and do what He wants us to do. Are we willing to do this?

Mary Haughton Brown wrote one of my favorite hymns "I’LL GO WHERE YOU WANT ME TO GO" We sing the words but do we really mean what we are singing?

"It may not be on the mountain’s height, Or over the stormy sea; It may not be at the battle’s front My Lord will have need of me; But if by a still, small voice He calls To paths I do not know, I’ll answer, dear Lord, with my hand in Thine, I’ll go where You want me to go.

I’ll go where You want me to go, dear Lord, O’er mountain, or plain, or sea; I’ll say what You want me to say, dear Lord, I’ll be what You want me to be."

May God help all of us to go where He wants us to go and be what He wants us to be. I love You, dear Jesus. What a privilege it has been to serve You for over twenty years.
I look forward to the joyous and happy day when I will have the privilege of seeing You face to face. Thank You for dying for me, for loving me and for never leaving me.

 OUR ROCK OF SAFETY

"The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower."

Psalms 18:2
King James Version

Grace L. Hosmer wrote the hymn "THE BLESSÈD ROCK OF AGES"

"On the blessèd Rock of Ages, In calm or tide, Always in that sacred shelter Let me abide. Trusting only in its keeping, Naught else to see, Ever on the Rock of Ages, Lord, hold Thou me."

One of my favorite hymns is "Hide Me Rock Of Ages". I love the words in this beautiful hymn.

"O thou blessed rock of ages I am trusting now dear Lord in thee keep me till my journey's ended keep me till Thy blessed face I see

Hide me O blest rock of ages till thy blessed face I see when the storms around me rages rock of ages hide thou me."

Jesus, You are so precious. I love You so very much and appreciate all that You have done for me. Knowing that one day I will have the privilege of seeing You face to face fills me to overflowing with excitement, joy and happiness.

 THANK YOU

"Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:"

Colossians 1:12-14
King James Version

Heavenly Father, we give You thanks for all that You have done for us, especially for giving Your beloved Son to die on the cross for our sins.

Heavenly Father, I pray for every pastor who is preaching the good news of our risen Saviour. Please encourage them, comfort them, protect them and let them know how much You appreciate their service to You.

I pray especially for my beloved Pastor. Thank You for putting me in his congregation. I pray for my Pastor's family. Please protect, heal and encourage them. I pray in Jesus' Name, Amen.

 OUR ANCHOR OF LOVE

"Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;"

Hebrews 6:19
King James Version

Rev. Edward Mote wrote a beautiful hymn about our precious Saviour "MY HOPE IS BUILT". I love the words in this hymn.

"My hope is built on nothing less Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness. I dare not trust the sweetest frame, But wholly trust in Jesus’ name. On Christ the solid rock I stand, All other ground is sinking sand; All other ground is sinking sand."

Thank God for our anchor of love Who never leaves us, not even for one minute. I love You, dear Jesus, and I appreciate all You have done for me.

Do you know this precious Saviour? Have you given your heart and life to Him? If not, I urge you to do it even as you read this devotion. Don't miss out on spending eternity with Jesus.

 ARE WE READY

"Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come."

Matthew 24:42
King James Version

Marietta Chafer Prince wrote a beautiful hymn about our Saviour "IF THE LORD MY SAVIOR COMES".

"If the Lord my Savior comes At the dawning, in the morning, Of a golden summer day, Will He find me waiting, watching, For His call to come away?

If the Lord my Savior comes At the noontime, in the hurry, Mid the toil and pressing care, Will I hear His sweet voice calling, Hear that shouting in the air?

If the Lord my Savior comes In the shadows of the twilight, When the cares are laid aside, Will He find my soul still harking, For His summons to His bride?

If the Lord my Savior comes In the quiet of the midnight, When the earth is hushed to rest, Will He find my lamp all ready, Bid me enter with the blest?"

Are we ready to meet Jesus when He comes back for us? Every one of us has to answer this question. Salvation is personal between Jeus ans us. No one can do it for us.

Have you asked God to forgive you for your sins and asked Jesus to come into your heart and save you? No one else can do it for you because salvation is personal between Jesus and you.

We read in the Bilbe what Jesus says to us. "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." Revelation 3:20

Don't keep hurting Jesus by refusing to let Him into your heart. Give your heart and life to Jesus before it is too late. One day it will be too late to say yes to Jesus. Give your heart and life to Jesus even as you are reading this devotion. He loves you so much He died for you.

 ARE WE WALKING IN LOVE

"And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour."

Ephesians 5:2
King James Version

Frances R. Havergal wrote a beautiful hymn about our Saviour "I Gave My Life for Thee".

"I gave My life for thee, My precious blood I shed, That thou mightest ransomed be, And quickened from the dead; I gave, I gave My life for thee, What hast thou done for Me? I gave, I gave My life for thee, What hast thou done for Me?

My Father's house of light, My glory-circled throne I left for earthly night, For wanderings sad and lone; I left, I left it all for thee, Hast thou left aught for Me? I left, I left it all for thee, Hast thou left aught for Me?"

Are we walking in love? If not, we are hurting Jesus and breaking His heart. If ever someone deserves to be happy, it is Jesus. He gave His life for us. What have we given for Him?

 IT IS IMPOSSIBLE

"Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen."

Galatians 1:3-5
King James Version

Fanny Crosby wrote the beautiful hymn "TO GOD BE THE GLORY". I love the words in this inspiring hymn.

"To God be the glory, Great things He has done; So loved He the world That He gave us His Son, Who yielded His life An atonement for sin, And opened the life gate That all may go in.

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, Let the earth hear His voice! Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, Let the people rejoice! O come to the Father, Through Jesus the Son, And give Him the glory, Great things He has done."

It is impossible to thank God and Jesus for all They have done for us. What a privilege it is to be part of God's family and to have Jesus as our Saviour.

I love You, Heavenly Father. I love You, Jesus. Thank You for loving us and for all You have done for us and for all You do for us every day.

 PEACE AND STRENGTH

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:"

Isaiah 26:4, 5
King James Version

One of my favorite hymns that John Stallings wrote about Jesus is "LEARNING TO LEAN". I love these words.

"The joy I cant explain filled my soul The day I made Jesus my king. His Blessed Holy Spirit is leading my way, He's teaching and I'm learning to lean.

Learning to lean, Learning to lean, I'm learning to lean on Jesus. Finding more power than I've ever dreamed, I'm learning to lean on Jesus.

Sad broken hearted, at an altar I knelt. I found peace that was so serene. And all that He asks is a child like trust, And a heart that is learning to lean

Learning to lean, Learning to lean, I'm learning to lean on Jesus. Finding more power than I've ever dreamed, I'm learning to lean on Jesus."

Thank You, Jesus, for all You have done for me and for dying on the cross and paying the penalty for my sins. I love You and one happy joyous day I will have the privilege of seeing You face to face.

 ARE WE LIVING FOR HIM

"For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring."

Acts 17:28
King James Version

Rev. Thomas O. Chisholm wrote a beautiful hymn "LIVING FOR JESUS". I love the words in this inspiring hymn.

"Living for Jesus, a life that is true, Striving to please Him in all that I do; Yielding allegiance, glad hearted and free, This is the pathway of blessing for me.

O Jesus, Lord and Savior, I give myself to Thee, For Thou, in Thy atonement, Didst give Thyself for me. I own no other master, My heart shall be Thy throne. My life I give, henceforth to live, O Christ, for Thee alone."

Are we living for Jesus? Are we making Him happy by loving one another unconditionally as He has commanded us to love one another? If not, we are hurting Him and breaking His heart. If ever someone deserves to be happy, it is Jesus!

 OUR LOVING SAVIOUR

"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."

1 Peter 5:7
King James Version

Maud F. Jackson wrote a beautiful hymn "I’VE FOUND THAT JESUS CARES". I love the words. They are so true of our precious Saviour.

"I once was sad and lonely, No hope my heart could see; I thought that I was friendless, That no one cared for me; But clouds away were driven, No more my heart despairs, For I, His cross beholding, Have found that Jesus cares.

Before me still are trials, Yet I need have no fear, Since Jesus, friend unfailing, To me is ever near; With joy my heart is singing, As on my way I fare, To know I’m not forgotten, To know my Lord doth care."

We know Jesus loves us. The question we need to answer is "Do i love Jesus"? If we do love Him, what are we doing to prove to Him that we love Him?

He left His Father, His home and all that He had to come to earth and die on the cross for our sins. What have we left for Him? Are we serving Him? If not, we are hurting Him and breaking His heart.

 OUR FAITHFUL HEAVENLY FATHER

"God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord."

1 Corinthians 1:9
King James Version

Rev. Thomas Obediah Chisholm wrote one of my favorite hymns "GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS". I'm so glad the words in this hymn are true.

"Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father; There is no shadow of turning with Thee; Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not; As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be.

Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness! Morning by morning new mercies I see. All I have needed Thy hand hath provided; Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!"

Not only do we have a faithful Heavenly Father, we also have a loving and compassionate Saviour Who helps us and Who never leaves us. We may think we can't do something but we can do anything when Jesus helps us.

Ludie D. Pickett wrote the beautiful hymn "NEVER ALONE". I'm so glad the words in this hymn are true.

"I’ve seen the lightning flashing, I’ve heard the thunder roll. I’ve felt sin’s breakers dashing, Which almost conquered my soul. I’ve heard the voice of my Savior, Bidding me still to fight on. He promised never to leave me, Never to leave me alone!"

 NO MORE

"He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it."

Isaiah 25:8
King James Version

One day there will be no more tears because God is going to wipe the tears from our eyes. I believe He is going to dry our tears with tender compassionate kisses.

God loves us so much He gave His beloved Son to die on the cross for our sins. What a privilege is ours to be loved by our Heavenly Father and by our precious Saviour.

Gloria and Bill Gaither wrote a beautiful hymn about how much we are loved "What A Day That Will Be". I love the words in this inspiring and heart touching hymn.

"There’s coming a day when no heartaches shall come No more clouds in the sky No more tears to dim the eye All is peace forever more On that happy golden shore What a day, glorious day that will be

What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see When I look upon His face the one who saved my by His grace When He takes me by the hand and leads me to the promised land What a day, glorious day that will be

There will be no sorrows there And no more burdens to bear No more sickness and, no more pain No more parting over there And forever I will be with the one who died for me What a day, glorious day that will be."

Thank You, Heavenly Father, for adopting me into Your family. I love You and appreciate all You have done for me. Thank You for the privilege You have given me to serve Your beloved Son. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

 DON'T GIVE UP

"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."

Galatians 6:9
King James Version

Ludie D. Pickett wrote one of my favorite hymns "NEVER ALONE". We can stay on the battlefield for Jesus because He never leaves us alone.

"I’ve seen the lightning flashing, I’ve heard the thunder roll. I’ve felt sin’s breakers dashing, Which almost conquered my soul. I’ve heard the voice of my Savior, Bidding me still to fight on. He promised never to leave me, Never to leave me alone!

The world’s fierce winds are blowing, Temptation sharp and keen. I have a peace in knowing My Savior stands between— He stands to shield me from danger When my friends are all gone. He promised never to leave me, Never to leave me alone!

When in affliction’s valley I tread the road of care, My Savior helps me carry The cross so heavy to bear; Though all around me is darkness, Earthly joys all flown; My Savior whispers His promise, Never to leave me alone!

He died on Calvary’s mountain, For me they piercèd His side. For me He opened that fountain, The crimson, cleansing tide. For me He waiteth in glory, Seated upon His throne.
He promised never to leave me, No, never alone, no never alone, He promised never to leave me, He’ll claim me for His own; No, never alone, no never alone. He promised never to leave me, Never to leave me alone.  Never to leave me alone!"

We need to stay on the battlefield for Jesus just as He stayed on the cross for us. Don't give up because Jesus will help us. I love You, dear Jesus, and I look forward to the happy joyous day when I will have the privilege of seeing You face to face.

 WALKING WITH JESUS

"And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?"

Luke 24:32
King James Version

Avis B. Christiansen wrote one of my favorite hymns "It Is Glory Just to Walk with Him". The words in this inspiring hymn are so true.

"It is glory just to walk with Him whose blood has ransomed me; It is rapture for my soul each day. It is joy divine to feel Him near where'er my path may be. Bless the Lord, it's glory all the way!

It is glory just to walk with Him. It is glory just to walk with Him. He will guide my steps aright, Thro' the vale and o'er the height. It is glory just to walk with Him."

John H. Sammis wrote another one of my favorite hymns about our precious Saviour "TRUST AND OBEY".

"When we walk with the Lord In the light of His Word, What a glory He sheds on our way! While we do His good will, He abides with us still, And with all who will trust and obey.

Not a shadow can rise, Not a cloud in the skies, But His smile quickly drives it away; Not a doubt or a fear, Not a sigh or a tear, Can abide while we trust and obey."

Are you walking with Jesus? We are either walking with Jesus or we are walking with satan.  There is no in between.

May God have mercy on us if we aren't walking with His beloved Son. I love You, Jesus. What a happy and joyous day it will be when I have the privilege of seeing You face to face.

 DO WE OBEY

"Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day."

Deuteronomy 27:10
King James Version

Rev. John H. Sammis wrote one of my favorite hymns "TRUST AND OBEY". I wonder if we are doing what we sing in this hymn or are we just singing the words?

"When we walk with the Lord In the light of His Word, What a glory He sheds on our way! While we do His good will, He abides with us still, And with all who will trust and obey.

Trust and obey, For there’s no other way To be happy in Jesus, But to trust and obey."

May God help us to trust and obey Jesus, not only because we should but also so we don't hurt Him.

 HE GIVES US JOY

"Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."

Psalms 30:4, 5
King James Version

H. V. Warren wrote the hymn "JOY COMETH IN THE MORNING". Thank God that one happy day Jesus is coming back for us and there will be no more crying or sadness. I love the words in this hymn.

"Rejoice in the Lord! Rejoice in the Lord! For weeping may endure for a night, But joy cometh in the morning!"

Rev. Albert Christopher Fisher wrote another beautiful hymn about our Saviour "IT IS GLORY TO TALK WITH HIM".

"When the cares of life oppress you And the load is hard to bear; When your troubles great distress you And there’s none who seems to care; Talk to Jesus, He will bless you And your every burden share; It is glory to talk with Him.

Trials great will overtake you In this sinful world below; Jesus never will forsake you, If to Him in faith you go; Storms of life can never shake you, If His keeping grace you know;

It is glory to talk with Him. All the way from earth to glory With the Savior you may go; Telling o’er and o’er the story, Letting happy praises flow; Tell it to the young and hoary, That His love they all may know; It is glory to talk with Him."

Please join me in praising the One Who loves us so much He died for us on the cross. "ALL HAIL, KING JESUS! WORTHY IS THE LAMB OF GOD" He is the KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS!

I love You so much, dear Jesus, and one happy and joyous day I will see You face to face.

 WHY

"The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee."

Jeremiah 31:3
King James Version

Robert Harkness wrote a beautiful hymn "Why Should He Love Me So?" The hymn asks a question that I've often wondered why He loves us so.

"Love sent my Savior to die in my stead; Why should He love me so? Meekly to Calvary's cross He was led; Why should He love me so?

Why should He love me so? Why should He love me so? Why should my Savior to Calvary go? Why should He love me so?

Nails pierced His hands and His feet for my sin; Why should He love me so? He suffered sore my salvation to win: Why should He love me so?"

Thank You, Jesus, for loving us, for dying on the cross for our sins and for the promise that one day we will see You face to face.

Carrie E. Breck wrote the beautiful hymn "FACE TO FACE WITH CHRIST, MY SAVIOR". I'm so glad the words in this hymn are true and that we will see Jesus face to face.

"Face to face with Christ, my Savior, Face to face—what will it be, When with rapture I behold Him, Jesus Christ who died for me?

Only faintly now I see Him, With the darkened veil between, But a blessèd day is coming, When His glory shall be seen.

What rejoicing in His presence, When are banished grief and pain; When the crooked ways are straightened, And the dark things shall be plain.

Face to face—oh, blissful moment! Face to face—to see and know; Face to face with my Redeemer, Jesus Christ who loves me so."

Are you going to see Jesus face to face? Don't miss out on spending eternity with the One Who loves you so much He died for you. I love You, dear Jesus. What a happy and joyous day it will be when I have the privilege of seeing You face to face.

 HIS PROMISES

"And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life."

1 John 2:25
King James Version

Jesus has also promised us that He will never leave us or forsake us. We read this promise in the Bible. "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Hebrews 13:5.

What a healing balm it is to our weary battle scarred heart to know we can trust Jesus because what He says, He will do. It is always safe to trust Jesus to not only take care of us but also to never leave us.

James Rowe wrote the hymn "HIS PROMISE TO ME". I love the words in this beautiful heart touching hymn.
"Darkness may o’ertake me And my song forsake me, But alone I never shall be; For the Friend beside me Promised He would guide me, And will keep His promise to me.

Should misfortune meet me, Friends may fail to greet me, But if true to Jesus I stay He will still uphold me, Let His love enfold me Every dreary mile of the way."

Jesus, thank You for being faithful to us. I pray we will be faithful to You and not hurt You. I love You, dear Jesus, and I appreciate all You have done for me. I look forward to the happy and joyous day when I will have the privilege of seeing You face to face. Jesus keeps His promises to us. Do we keep our promises to Him?

 PRAISING OUR SAVIOUR

"And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)"

Hebrews 10:21-23
King James Version

Bill and Gloria Gaither wrote a beautiful hymn about our Saviour "Let's Just Praise the Lord". I love the words in this heart touching inspiring hymn.

"O we thank you for your kindness, we thank you for your love, We have been in heavenly places, felt blessings from above; We've been sharing all the good things, the family can afford, Let's just turn our hearts toward heaven and praise the Lord."

Are we praising Jesus and thanking Hin for all He has done for us? If not, we are hurting Him and breaking His heart. If ever someone deserves to be praised, it is Jesus! I love You, dear Jesus, and appreciate all You have done for me.
