WALKING WITH JESUS

"And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?"

Avis B. Christiansen wrote one of my favorite hymns "It Is Glory Just to Walk with Him". The words in this inspiring hymn are so true.

"It is glory just to walk with Him whose blood has ransomed me; It is rapture for my soul each day. It is joy divine to feel Him near where'er my path may be. Bless the Lord, it's glory all the way!

It is glory just to walk with Him. It is glory just to walk with Him. He will guide my steps aright, Thro' the vale and o'er the height. It is glory just to walk with Him."

John H. Sammis wrote another one of my favorite hymns about our precious Saviour "TRUST AND OBEY".

"When we walk with the Lord In the light of His Word, What a glory He sheds on our way! While we do His good will, He abides with us still, And with all who will trust and obey.

Not a shadow can rise, Not a cloud in the skies, But His smile quickly drives it away; Not a doubt or a fear, Not a sigh or a tear, Can abide while we trust and obey."

Are you walking with Jesus? We are either walking with Jesus or we are walking with satan.  There is no in between.

May God have mercy on us if we aren't walking with His beloved Son. I love You, Jesus. What a happy and joyous day it will be when I have the privilege of seeing You face to face.
