 ARE YOU TIRED

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

Matthew 11:28-30
King James Version

Jesus understands how it feels to be tired. "Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour." John 4:6

Helen H. Lemmel wrote one of my favorite hymns "TURN YOUR EYES UPON JESUS". We need to keep our eyes on Jesus because He will never leave us or fail us.

"O soul, are you weary and troubled? No light in the darkness you see? There’s a light for a look at the Savior, And life more abundant and free!

Turn your eyes upon Jesus, Look full in His wonderful face, And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, In the light of His glory and grace."

I love You, Jesus. Thank You for loving me, for never leaving me and for all You do for me. One happy joyous day I will have the privilege of seeing You face to face.

 HOW OFTEN

"Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven."

Matthew 18:21, 22
King James Version

If we want God to forgive us, we need to forgive those who hurt us. There was only one perfect person who ever lived or will live and His name is Jesus.

Heavenly Father, please help us to forgive those who hurt us just as You are faithful to forgive us when we hurt You. Thank You for loving me and for adopting me into Your family. I love You and appreciate all You have done for me. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

 HE IS WORTHY

"Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen."

Jude 1:24, 25
King James Version

Gloria and Bill Gaither wrote the beautiful inspiring and heart touching hymn "Worthy the Lamb". Indeed, our precious Saviour is worthy. He is the "KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS".

Please join me in praising Him. I love the words in this hymn. "Hear the cries of the shackled from the onset of time For the chains of defeat theres no key See the tears of the broken, the cries of the slaves: Is there no one worthy to set us free?

Then the crying is stilled as the chorus rings out The shackled released from their chains And thousands of voices are swelling the song: Worthy the Lamb that was slain".

Jesus, when I think of how you were beaten, cursed, spat on, and died on the cross for my sins, I am filled with love and gratitude for what You did for me.

Thank You for coming to me when I couldn't come to You.  One happy and joyous day I will have the privilege of seeing You face to face and I am going to spend all eternity praising You. Thank You for loving me when I was so unlovely.

 WHY DO YOU

"Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;"

Psalms 107:2
King James Version

I have been asked why I share personal things. It is because the Bible tells us to share what Jesus has done for us.  Jesus has done so much for me. He took my hardened heart away and gave me a new heart.

"And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:" Ezekiel 11:19

It was very hard for me to forgive the man who raped me but I knew Jesus wanted me to forgive the man so I prayed and asked God to help me forgive him.

We don't know what is going on in a person's heart. We don't know why people kill people, rape people and do other things that hurt Jesus and break His heart.

When a baby is born, the baby is not born with a heart of hatred. The baby grows up doing and saying what he sees and hears. This is why it is so important that we set a good example for our children.

This always reminds me of what a teenage boy said to his parents. "You go to church. You teach Sunday school and sing in the choir but when you come home you criticize the pastor and the sermon. If this is what being a Christian means, I don't want any part of it".

One day every one of us will stand before God and give an account of the example we set for others. May God have mercy on us if we are hurting His beloved Son.

I think we sometimes forget that Jesus has feelings and it hurts Him when we don't love one another as He has commanded us to love each other.

We can't do it by ourselves so we need to ask Jesus to help us love one another and forgive one another just as He loves us and forgives us. I love You, dear Jesus. Thank You for all You have done for me. How I long for the day when I see You face to face.

 OUR LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS

"And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof."

Revelation 21:23
King James Version

Jesus is our light in the darkness of despair and discouragement. When we are hurting, He picks us up in His loving arms and carries us until the pain goes away.

Jesus tells us how much He loves us. We read in the Bible. "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10

Thank You, Jesus, for loving us and for being our light in the darkness. I love You and appreciate all You have done for me.

 HIS ARMS ARE OPEN

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

Matthew 11:28
King James Version

If you are tired and feel like giving up, tell Jesus. His arms are open and He will give you rest. Jesus knows how it feels to be tired and need to rest. He loves you and cares about you. Allow our loving Saviour to comfort and encourage you.

"Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour." John 4:6

Fanny Crosby wrote one of my favorite hymns "HE HIDETH MY SOUL" I love the words in this beautiful heart touching hymn.

"A wonderful Savior is Jesus my Lord, A wonderful Savior to me; He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock, Where rivers of pleasure I see.

When clothed in His brightness, transported I rise To meet Him in clouds of the sky, His perfect salvation, His wonderful love I’ll shout with the millions on high."

Thank You, dear Jesus, for caring when we are hurting, tired and feel like going to bed and staying there. You're more than our Saviour, You are our best Friend and I love You and appreciate You.

 FORGIVENESS

"But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses."

Mark 11:26
King James Version

We want God to forgive us when we sin and hurt Him but there are times when we refuse to forgive the ones who hurt us. How dare you and I ask God to forgive us if we aren't willing to forgive those who hurt us.

None of us are perfect. All of us hurt others at times. Instead of letting hatred and unforgiveness remain in our heart, we need to ask God to help us forgive those who hurt us. We should follow the example that Jesus gave us about forgiving others.

"When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more." John 8:10,11

May God have mercy on us if we refuse to forgive those who hurt us. He forgave us and we crucified His beloved Son. It was your sins and my sins that Jesus died for on that cross of agony and pain.

Thank You for dying for my sins, Jesus. I love You. Thank You for all You have done for me, especially for never leaving me.

 OUR REFUGE

"The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble."

 HIS PRECIOUS NAME

"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

Philippians 2:5-11
King James Version

One of my favorite hymns is "JESUS IS THE SWEETEST NAME I KNOW" by Lela B. Long. It is so true because Jesus is the sweetest Name I know.

"There have been names that I have loved to hear, But never has there been a name so dear To this heart of mine, as the name divine, The precious, precious name of Jesus.

Jesus is the sweetest name I know, And He’s just the same as His lovely name, And that’s the reason why I love Him so; Oh, Jesus is the sweetest name I know."

Jesus, You are so wonderful. Thank You for everything. I love and appreciate You.

 OUR SAVIOUR'S LOVE

"And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven."

Colossians 1:20
King James Version

Eden Reeder Latta wrote the hymn "AT THE CROSS". Thank God that Jesus loves us so much He died for our sins on the cross so we can be saved and live in Heaven with Him.

"There is pardon, full and free, At the cross, Whatsoe’er our sins may be, At the cross; Let us now the Lord entreat, With our burdened souls to meet, And bestow that pardon sweet, At the cross.

There’s a peace that none can tell, At the cross, In the Savior’s all is well! At the cross; Let us seek that peace to prove, That is showered from above Thro’ the Master’s dying love, At the cross.

There’s a joy that all may feel, At the cross, If in humble faith they kneel, At the cross; Let us taste that joy so great, Ere it be for us too late, Mercy will not always wait, At the cross.

There’s a hope that will endure, At the cross, It is like an anchor sure, At the cross; Let us now that hope obtain, That shalt never prove in vain, While believing we remain At the cross."

Yes, our loving Saviour died on the cross for us because He loves us so much and there's stil room at the cross for you. If there has never been a time when you admitted you are a sinner, asked God to forgive you and invited Jesus into your heart, please do it now before it's too late.

There is still room at the cross for you. Ira Stanphill wrote one of my favorite hymns "There's Room at the Cross for You". I believe he wrote this beautiful hymn from his heart.

"The cross upon which Jesus died Is a shelter in which we can hide And its grace so free is sufficient for me And deep is its fountain as wide as the sea.

The hand of my Savior is strong And the love of my Savior is long Through sunshine or rain, through loss or in gain,The blood flows from Calvary to cleanse every stain.

There's room at the cross for you There's room at the cross for you Though millions have come, there's still room for one Yes there's room at the cross for you."

Precious Jesus, how I love You and appreciate all You have done for me. Thank You for coming to me when I couldn't go to You. One happy and joyous day You are coming back for us and I will have the privilege of seeing You face to face.

Heavenly Father, I pray for every pastor who is preaching the good news of our risen Saviour. Please comfort them, heal them, enourage them and protect them.

I pray for my wonderful Pastor. Thank You for allowing me to be in his church. I pray that every prayer that my Pastor has prayed for someone would be answered.

I love You, dear Father. I love You, precious Jesus. I love You, Holy Spirit. Thank You for comforting me. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

 HIS PRECIOUS BLOOD

"Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:"

1 Peter 1:18, 19
King James Version

D. C. Addison wrote a beautiful hymn about our precious Saviour "BLOOD-BOUGHT". The words in this hymn bring tears to my eyes to think that Jesus loves us so much. Thank God for the cleansing atoning blood that Jesus shed for our sins so we can be saved.

"I have a home at last, ’Twas bought by blood divine, Safe from the stormy blast, And the blest title mine. Blood paid for every stone, For roof, and nail and door; There death is never known, But life for evermore.

These emblems mark the wall— The cross, the nails, the spear; Five bleeding wounds in all Show me the title clear. On Calvary ’twas paid, Each drop to Justice due; And Love divine there laid The price for me and you.

Blood-bought, I stand secure, Since Jesus died for me; Blood-bought, redemption sure, If I but cling to Thee. Washed in this blood divine, In glory to appear; Like Him forever shine, His welcome voice to hear."

Another heart touching and inspiring hymn that always brings tears of happiness to me is "What a Day That Will Be". Thank God that one day we will see Jesus face to face.

"What a day that will be, When my Jesus I shall see, And I look upon His face, The One who saved me by His grace; When He takes me by the hand, And leads me through the Promised Land, What a day, glorious day that will be.

There'll be no sorrow there, No more burdens to bear, No more sickness, no more pain, No more parting over there; But forever I will be, With the One who died for me, What a day, glorious day that will be."

I love You so much, dear Jesus. Thank You for all You have done for me.

 OUR SAVIOUR'S LOVE

"For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many."

Mark 10:45
King James Version

Kurt Kaiser wrote a beautiful hymn "Oh, How He Loves You and Me" Jesus proved how much He loves us when He died on the cross for us.

"Jesus to Calv'ry did go, His love for mankind to show. What He did there brought hope from despair. Oh, how He loves you, Oh, how He loves me, Oh how He loves you and me.

Oh, how He loves you and me, Oh, how He loves you and me. He gave His life, what more could He give; Oh, how He loves you, Oh, how He loves me, Oh, how He loves you and me."

Thank You, dear Jesus, for dying for my sins. I love You and appreciate all You have done for me. Thank You for coming to me when I couldn't go to You .

Squire Parsons wrote one of the greatest hymns that has been written "He Came to Me". Thank God that our Saviour loves us so much He came to us .

"The gulf that separated me from Christ, my Lord, It was so vast the crossing I could never ford; From where I was to His domain, it seemed so far, I cried, "Dear Lord, I cannot come to where you are."

He came to me, O, He came to me. When I could not come to where He was, He came to me. That's why He died on Calvary, When I could not come to where He was, He came to me.

He came to me when I was bound in chains of sin, He came to me when I possessed no hope within, He picked me up and He drew me gently to His side, Where, today, in His sweet love I now abide."

Thank You, dear Jesus, for coming to me when I couldn't go to where You are and for never leaving me and for loving me.

 HE DIED FOR US

"And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost."

Luke 23:46
King James Version

Several years ago when I lived in Texas the assistant pastor allowed them to put him on a cross during the Easter season to show us how much Jesus loves us.

When I saw that pastor on the cross, I couldn't watch. I had to get up and leave church. Even today, Jesus is being abused, scorned, ridiculed and rejected. How this must hurt Him to know that some people still don't love Him.

The Sunday school teacher I had in Texas lived in a big home and her husband took the doors off one of their rooms. He built a large cross out of wood they had and carried it into their recreation room.

My Sunday School teacher who was also my doctor, gave us a pen and paper and told us to write down everything we had done that hurt Jesus.

It breaks my heart to admit this but I had to ask her for more paper because I had hurt so many people. I had already asked Jesus to save me but that day, I asked Him to take control of my life and help me live for Him.

Teachers, I would encourage you to do the same thing with your class. It will draw them closer to Jesus and it will also make Him happy when they give their heart, their life and everything they have to Him.

We may think that what we say and do doesn't hurt others but it does. May God have mercy on us and forgive us if we are hurting His beloved Son.

Jesus, I love You more than I can ever tell You but You see into my heart and You know that I love You. Thank You for all You have done for me.

Especially, thank You for never leaving me or hurting me. One happy and joyous day I will have the privilege of seeing You face to face.

 ALL THE TIME

"Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. And they remembered his words,"

Luke 24:1-8
King James Version

Flora Kirkland wrote a beautiful hymn about the resurrection of our tender loving Saviour that brings tears of happiness to my eyes "EASTER, JOYOUS EASTER"

"Easter, joyous Easter, holy happy time! Bells ring out their message, Joy in every chime; Sweetly through their music, Faint an echo swells, Voices seem to mingle with the bells.
Seek ye not the living here among the dead; Christ the Lord is risen, risen as He said;

Blessèd reassurance, gone the weary night, Christ is risen! Easter breaks in floods of light! Voices in a garden, near a rock-hewn tomb, Gracious heav’nly voices, Cheering earth’s dark gloom; Voices from the glory, Sent from thence to tell, Jesus lives again! Immanuel!"

Can you imagine the happiness that our Heavenly Father felt when His beloved Son rose? Think of the tears of joy that flowed down His cheeks when His Son rose.

O how much our Heavenly Father loves us that He would allow His precious Son to be beaten beyond recognition, spat on, cursed, mocked, humiliated and crucified for our sins.

One day, we will have the privilege and joy of seeing our risen Saviour face to face. What a day of happiness and joy that is going to be! I love You so much, Jesus. You are so precious to my heart. Thank You for all You have done for me.

 GOD CARES

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

John 3:16
King James Version

Have you ever felt like nobody loved or cared about you? I have many times. There is good news. Our Heavenly Father not only loves us and cares about us, He cares about us and loves us every day.

What a privilege it is to be part of the family of God. One happy and joyous day Jesus is coming to take us to live with Him in Heaven.
Are you ready to meet Jesus if He should come back while you reading this devotion? If not, I urge you to give your heart and life to Jesus even as you are reading this devotion. Don't miss out on spending eternity with Jesus.

Heavenly Father, I pray for every pastor who is preaching the good news of our risen Saviour Please speak to their heart and let them know how much You appreciate their service to You.

Precious Jesus, I have tried so many times to tell You how much I love and appreciate You but there are not enough words. Thank You for loving me when I was so unlovely.

Thank You for allowing them to crucify You on the cross for my sins, for paying the debt that I could never have paid. Thank You for the assurance that You will never leave me. It has kept me going so many times.

Barney E. Warren wrote a beautiful hymn "IT IS TRULY WONDERFUL". The words in this hymn are so true.
"He pardoned my transgressions, He sanctified my soul, He honors my confessions, Since by His blood I’m whole."

Albert E. Brumley wrote a beautiful hymn "I'll Fly Away". I love the words in this hymn.
"Some glad morning when this life is o'er, I'll fly away; To a home on God's celestial shore, I'll fly away. Just a few more weary days and then, I'll fly away; To a land where joy shall never end, I'll fly away (I'll fly away)."

 NOBODY AND NOTHING

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Romans 8:35 - 39
King James Version

Charles Conway wrote a beautiful hymn about our precious Saviour "RANSOMED AND REDEEMED". I believe he wrote this hymn from his heart.

Do you know our precious Saviour? I didn't ask if you are saved. I asked if you know Him. To know someone, we have to spend time with that person. How much time do you spend with Jesus?

Someone said "I don't have time to pray and talk to Jesus before I go to work." However, this same person reads the newspaper before going to work. If we have time to read the newspaper and watch television before we go to work, we have time to spend with Jesus.

How we must hurt Jesus and break His heart at times when we put things and people ahead of Him. One day every one of us will stand before God and give an account of the way we treated His beloved Son.

I don't know about you but I don't want to have to hang my head in shame because I put people and things ahead of Him. After all that our precious Saviour has done for us, He deserves to have first place.

Psalms 136:24
King James Version

Fanny Crosby wrote the beautiful and inspiring hymn "REDEEMED, HOW I LOVE TO PROCLAIM IT!"

"Redeemed, how I love to proclaim it! Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb; Redeemed through His infinite mercy, His child and forever I am.

Redeemed, and so happy in Jesus, No language my rapture can tell; I know that the light of His presence With me doth continually dwell.

I think of my blessèd Redeemer, I think of Him all the day long: I sing, for I cannot be silent; His love is the theme of my song."

Thank You for dying for my sins on the cross so I can be saved. I love You, dear Jesus. One happy and joyous day I will have the privilege of seeing You face to face.

 JESUS IS STILL ALIVE

"But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.'

1 Corinthians 15:20
King James Version

We will be celebrating Easter soon. What a happy and joyous day that will be. However, we should celebrate Jesus rising from the dead every day, not just on Easter.

Rev. Robert Lowry wrote one of the most beautiful hymns ever written "Christ Arose". "Low in the grave He lay, Jesus my Savior, waiting the coming day, Jesus my Lord!

Up from the grave He arose; with a mighty triumph o'er His foes; He arose a victor from the dark domain, and He lives forever, with His saints to reign. He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!"

"Face to face with Christ, my Savior, Face to face—what will it be, When with rapture I behold Him, Jesus Christ who died for me?
Face to face I shall behold Him, Far beyond the starry sky; Face to face in all His glory, I shall see Him by and by!

 OUR SAVIOUR'S LOVE

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

John 3:16
King James Version

Bill & Gloria Gaither wrote the beautiful inspiring hymn "What a Day That Will Be" I'm so glad the words n this hymn are true.

Heavenly Father, thank You for loving us so much that You gave Your beloved Son to die on the cross for our sins.

Jesus, thank You for walking that long lonely road to Calvary and allowing them to crucify You for our sins. I love You so much and one happy day I will have the privilege of seeing You face to face.

 GIVE HIM PRAISE

"After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon t he throne, and unto the Lamb. And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen."

Revelation 7:9-12
King James Version

Thomas Ken wrote the hymn "PRAISE GOD, FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW". Are we doing what we sing in this beautiful hymn?

"Praise God, from whom all blessings flow; Praise Him, all creatures here below; Praise Him above, ye heavenly host; Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost."

Heavenly Father, thank You for all You have done for us. Thank You for giving Your beloved Son to die on the cross for our sins. What a privilege it has been to serve Jesus these last twenty years.

I pray for all who are discouraged, lonely and for all who feel like going to bed and staying there. Please comfort and encourage them as You have done for me so many times. Thank You. I love You and appreciate You. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

 IT BREAKS HIS HEART

"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."

John 10:10
King James Version

I watch Judge Judy and the people 0n that show accuse one another, yell at one another and say heart breaking words to each other. How that must hurt our precious Saviour and break His heart because He wants us to be happy. It is time we encourage one another so Jesus will be happy.

 IS GOD PLEASED

"And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him: And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

Mark 1:9-11
King James Version

Is God pleased with the way we treat Jesus and the way we treat one another? If God gave us a grade, would we get a good grade on a failing grade?

May God help us to love one another unconditionally all of the time as Jesus has commanded us to love each other. It is time we stop hurting Jesus and breaking His heart.

 OUR HEAVENLY HOME

"In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."

John 14:2, 3
King James Version

My sister gave me a picture of her home that I have on my computer that I see every time I turn on my computer. Jesus has given us a picture of our mansion in Heaven that He has prepared for us which He has put in our heart.

One day when Jesus comes back for us we will live with Him in Heaven for eternity. What a day of rejoicing and happiness it will be when Jesus comes back for us.

Are you going to go with Jesus when He comes back for us? If not, please ask God to forgive your sins and invite Jesus into your heart to be your Saviour right now. Don't put it off because you may not have another day to live.

We read in the Bible.  "(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)" 2 Corinthians 6:2

Heavenly Father, I pray for every man, every woman, every boy and every girl who has not invited Jesus into their heart to be their Saviour. Please melt their heart and may today be the day they say yes to Jesus.

Thank You for loving me, for adopting me into Your family, and for giving me the privilege to serve Your beloved Son. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

 DO YOU LOVE HIM

"Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him."

Psalms 91:14, 15
King James Version

Jesus does so much for us so we should do all that we can do for Him. Jesus left His Father, His home and all that He had to come to earth and die on the cross for us. What are we doing for Him?

Jesus should be first in our heart, in our life, in our time and in all that we do. He gave up everything for us. If ever someone deserves to be praised and adored, it is Jesus.  He is the "KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS" and He loves us.

What are we doing to prove to Him how much we love Him? If we want to make our Saviour happy, then we will love one another unconditionally as He has commanded us to love each other.

"A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another." John 13:34 Can we honestly say that we always love each other unconditionally?

I can't say that I always love others like Jesus wants me to love because there are times when someone hurts me that I get angry and I have to pray and ask God to help me keep my big mouth shut.

"For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be." (James 3:7-10)

Do you love Jesus? If so, what are you doing to prove to Him that you love Him? The best way to prove to Jesus that you love Him is by loving others as He loves us. I love You, Jesus. Thank You for dying for me and for never leaving me. One happy and joyous day I will have the privilege of seeing You face to face.

Carrie E. Breck wrote the beautiful heart touching hymn "FACE TO FACE WITH CHRIST, MY SAVIOR" I believe when she wrote this hymn that she wrote it from the love she had for Jesus in her heart.

"Face to face with Christ, my Savior, Face to face—what will it be, When with rapture I behold Him, Jesus Christ who died for me? Face to face I shall behold Him, Far beyond the starry sky; Face to face in all His glory, I shall see Him by and by!"

Are you going to see Jesus when He comes back for us? Has there ever been a time in your life when you admitted you were a sinner, asked God to forgive you and invited Jesus into your heart? If not, I urge you to do it now even as you read this devotion. Jesus is waiting for you with His arms open wide and a heart full of love for you.
