HIS PRECIOUS NAME

"And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

There is not a name that is as sweet and dear to my heart than the beautiful Name of my precious Saviour. I don't think we have allowed it to go from head knowledge to heart knowledge how much Jesus loves us. He is a Friend beyond compare. He never leaves us, never says unkind things about us and intercedes for us to our Heavenly Father. There really is no other friend like Jesus. We can trust Him to take care of us and defend us.

I was saved the day that I admitted that I was a sinner, confessed my sins, asked God to forgive me and invited Jesus into my heart to be my personal Saviour on August 14, 1980. He has never left me since that day. O how I love Jesus. He is the Joy of my heart and the reason I get out of bed and one happy day I am going to have the privilege of seeing Him face to face.
