OUR PROTECTOR

"I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place. The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?"

Pastor William O. Cushing wrote the inspiring hymn "Under His Wings". I love the words in this hymn. "Under His wings I am safely abiding, Though the night deepens and tempests are wild, Still I can trust Him; I know He will keep me, He has redeemed me, and I am His child.

Under His wings, under His wings, Who from His love can sever? Under His wings my soul shall abide, Safely abide forever."

What a healing balm it is to our weary battle scarred heart to know that Jesus will protect us from everyone and everything. It is always safe to trust Jesus because what He says, He will do.
