ALL YEAR LONG

"When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. We get excited at Christmas and buy gifts for one another. We are with our loved ones and are happy to be with each other. We should have this joy and laughter and happiness every day of the year.

However, we don't have this every day of the year. We can't afford to buy gifts for one another every day and we can't spend as much time with one another as we have to work but we should keep the joy, love and laughter every day of the year.

I have the best sister in the world. She is a giving loving person. Is she perfect? No, she isn't because no one including you and me is perfect. There was only one perfect person who ever lived or ever will live and His Name is Jesus.

My loving and wonderful sister gives me gifts that I can enjoy every day all year. She gave me a carousel that plays Christmas music a long time ago and I heard the music every day, not just at Christmas.

Two days ago, it stopped playing music. I don't know what happened but it made a loud noise and I saw sparks come out of it so I knew it was not going to play music anymore and I threw it out.

I don't have the carousel any more but I still have the love my sister gave me in my heart. May God help us to give laughter, happiness and our time to each other not just at Christmas but every day of the year.
