WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH JESUS

"For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace."

Romans 6:14
King James Version

If Jesus doesn't come back for us today, we will start a new year, a year in which we can serve Jesus. What will you do with Jesus this year? Will you give Him first place in your heart, in your time, in your life and in everything you do?

Does Jesus have first place in your heart, in your life and in everything you do? If He doesn't, why doesn't He? After all that Jesus has done for us including dying on the cross for us, He deserves to have first place.

Every one of us has to answer this question. What is your answer? Are you going to give Him first place in your heart, in our time, in your life and in everything you do? If you don't, you are hurting Him and breaking His heart.

One day every one of us will stand before our Heavenly Father and give an account of how we treated His beloved Son. I don't know about you but I don't want to have to hang my head in shame because I hurt Jesus.

Heavenly Father, thank You for loving us so much You gave Your beloved Son to die on the cross for our sins. I love You, Heavenly Father. I love You, Jesus. I love You, Holy Spirit.

Dear Father, thank You for the privilege You have given me to serve Your Son these last twenty years. I'm so glad I'm a part of Your family.

Gloria and Bill Gaither wrote a beautiful heart touching hymn about our Heavenly Father "The Family of God". I love the words in this beautiful hymn.

"I’m so glad I’m a part of the Family of God, I’ve been washed in the fountain, Cleansed by His blood, Joint heirs with Jesus As we travel this sod, I’m so glad I’m a part Of the family of God."

Are you a part of the family of God? Have you asked God to forgive you for your sins and invited Jesus into your heart to be your personal Saviour? If not, I urge you to do it even while you are reading this devotion. Don't put it off as Jesus can come back for us even while you are reading this. Say yes to Jesus. Don't keep breaking His heart.
