D. C. Murphy wrote one of my favorite hymns "I’M ON THE WAY TO GLORY-LAND".  Are you on the way to Heaven?  I love the words in this beautiful and inspiring hymn.

 

"I sought and found my Lord and king, His praises I will ever sing; And honor daily His command, While on the way to Glory-land.

 

I’m on the way, I’m on the way, I go rejoicing day by day; I’m on the way, I’m on the way, I’m on my way to Glory-land.

 

So wonderful His love to me, He set my longing spirit free; His power hath broken Satan’s band, And leads me on to Glory-land.

 

Filled with Thy love, Lord, I would be, Forever saved and kept by Thee; And crowned at last at Thy right hand, A ransomed soul in Glory-land."

 

If you have never admitted you are a sinner, asked God to forgive you and invited Jesus in your heart to be your Saviour, I urge you to do it even as you read this devotion.  Don't miss out on spending eternity with the One Who loves you so much He died for you.

 

I confessed my sins to God on August 14, 1980, asked Him to forgive me for my sins and invited Jesus into my heart to be my Saviour.  My birthday was July 7 but my spiritual birthday is August 14th.  

We should fall on our knees and thank God for giving Jesus to die for our sins and thank our precious Saviour for enduring the pain and agony that He suffered on the cross when He died for our sins so we can be saved and go to Heaven when we die.

 

Thank You, precious Saviour for loving me, for dying for me and for never leaving me.  One happy joyous day I will have the privilege of seeing You face to face.  I love You so much and appreciate all You have done for me.
