THEY STILL CARE

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

John 3:16
King James Version

God loves us so much He gave His beloved Son to die for your sins and for my sins. Jesus loves us so much He willingly walked that long lonely road to Calvary and allowed them to beat Him beyond recognition, curse Him, spit on Him, mock Him and humiliate Him. I have said this many times and I will keep saying it until God calls me home to Heaven. No one loves you as much as God and Jesus love you and nobody ever will.

OUR HEAVENLY FATHER AND JESUS

"For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father."

Romans 8:15
King James Version

Fanny Crosby wrote the beautiful hymn "Adopted". I love the words in this hymn. "O what a Father, how tenderly gracious, O what a Savior to make me His care; Tho’ I have slighted, rejected, and grieved Him, Still He permits me His kingdom to share." We have a tender loving compassionate Heavenly Father and Saviour. They really love us and care about us. What a privilege is ours to be loved by our Heavenly Father and by our Saviour.

HOW MUCH

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

John 3:16
King James Version

God loves us so much that He gave His beloved Son to die on a cruel cross for our sins so we can be saved. How much do we love God and Jesus and what have we done for Them? May God have mercy on us if we are hurting Jesus because we don't love people unconditionally as He has commanded us to love one another.

ALWAYS

"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever."

Hebrews 13:8
King James Version

In this crazy world where it's hard to depend on anything, we can depend on Jesus to always be the same, today, tomorrow and always. It is always safe to put our trust in Jesus because what He says He will do.  We can depend on Him to do it. Can Jesus depend on us to do the things we tell Him we are going to do for Him?

GOD STILL LOVES YOU

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

John 3:16
King James Version

God loved you yesterday. He loves you today and He will always love you. We need to trust our Heavenly Father to take care of us and love us. One day when God looked down and saw us needing to be rescued, He gave His beloved Son to die on the cross for our sins. We have a tender loving Heavenly Father and a tender loving Saviour. Never forget you are loved.

STOP HURTING MY SON

"And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

Matthew 3:16, 17
King James Version

When someone says or does something to hurt our children, we get upset. We rush to defend our children. The same is true with our Heavenly Father and Jesus. When we say or do something that hurts our precious Saviour, our Heavenly Father gets upset. It is time we stop hurting Jesus by refusing to love others unconditionally as He has commanded us to love each other.

How dare you and I go to a Holy God and ask Him to forgive us if we aren't willing to forgive the ones who hurt us? Nobody is perfect except Jesus. May God have mercy on us and forgive us for not loving unconditionally. One day we will stand before our Heavenly Father and give an account of why we hurt His beloved Son.

HIS HEART IS BREAKING

"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."

John 10:10
King James Version

The heart of our precious Saviour breaks when we are hurting. He wants us to have a happy life filled with joy, peace, contentment and unconditional love. It hurts Jesus when we watch television all the time and never talk to our children  A young boy said "My mom talked to me and played with me all day at Christmas but the next day she turned on the television and hasn't talked to me again except to tell me what she wants me to do."

O that we would realize that our children grow up and leave home soon enough so we have better use this time to let them know how much we love them and especially let them know how much Jesus loves them. Have you told your children, your spouse and the other members your family that you love them today? If not, don't wait! God could call anyone of us home at any time.
