MERCY AND GRACE

“Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.  For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.  Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
Hebrews 4:14-16 KJV

What a comfort it is to our weary and battle scarred heart to be able to come boldly unto the throne of grace, because of Jesus, our precious Saviour.  He has already paid the price for our sins.  What compassion, mercy and grace flowed from the heart of Jesus when He died on the cross for our sins.

Thank God for our Redeemer Who loves us so much that He died for us.  “To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.  In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; (Ephesians 1:6,7).

It doesn’t matter what is wrong with us.  We can be in pain physically, emotionally, financially or even have family problems yet He is with us to help us in our time of need.  What a privilege is ours to be a part of the family of God and to be adopted by God Himself.  Are you a part of the family of God?
