DON'T WAIT

"(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)"

2 Corinthians 6:2
King James Version

I just read a story about a mother and a daughter. The mother was dying and her daughter couldn't be with her because her mother was dying from this terrible disease that is going around. The daughter couldn't be with her but a kind loving nurse used her own cell phone and connected the mother and daughter and the daughter was able to tell her mother that she loved her.

How I thank God and praise Him for nurses. One of my dearest friends is a nurse and she has such a loving compassionate heart. I am so grateful to God for putting this wonderful friend in my heart and in my life. She fell and hurt herself and has been in a lot of pain yet she faithfully emails me to see how I am and she reassures me that Jesus loves me.

We need to realize the urgency and the importance of telling our loved ones how much we love them and what they mean to us. As important as that is, it is more important to be sure we are in right standing with God because He can call us home to Heaven any time. Are you in right standing with our Heavenly Father if you die today?

If we have allowed things that hurt our Heavenly Father and break His heart, things like jealously, hatred, resentment and unforgiveness to remain in our heart, we are not in right standing with God and we are hurting Him. Be sure your loved ones know that you love them. Don't be like the husband who said "I don't have to tell my wife I love her. She should know I love her because I married her."

It would break my heart if Jesus didn't tell me every day that He loves me and it breaks His heart when we don't tell Him every day that we love Him. Jesus has feelings and He wants us to tell Him we love Him. He knows everything and He knows if we really love Him because He can see into our heart. We can fool others. We can even fool ourselves but we can't fool Jesus. Please join me in praising the One Who loves us so much He died for our sins on the cross, paid the price for our sins that we could never have paid and endured agony and pain that you and I will never know.

I will never understand how people can shout and cheer for their favorite sports team but neglect to shout and cheer for Jesus Who loves us so much He willingly walked that long lonely road to Calvary and allowed them to beat Him beyond recognition, spit on Him, curse Him and pluck His beard. All hail, King Jesus! Worthy is the Lamb of God! He is the KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS and one happy joyous day we will have the privilege of seeing Him face to face.

Carrie E. Breck wrote the beautiful and heart touching hymn "Face to Face with Christ, My Savior". I love the words in this inspiring hymn "Face to face with Christ, my Savior, Face to face—what will it be, When with rapture I behold Him, Jesus Christ who died for me? What rejoicing in His presence, When are banished grief and pain; When the crooked ways are straightened, And the dark things shall be plain."

O how I love Jesus! He is the Joy of my heart, the reason I'm living and the reason I get out of bed and one joyous happy day, I'm going to have the privilege of seeing His precious face. How I long for that day!
