THE PROMISE

"But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."

1 Corinthians 2:9
King James Version

The Bible tells us that God has good things for us that we can't even imagine but there is a condition. We have to love Him. We can tell others we love Him but God can see into our heart and He knows if we love Him or are just putting on a show for others. How do we prove to God we love Him. We prove it by being kind and loving to His Son.

Our Heavenly Father loves His Son very much and it hurts Him when He sees the way we teat Jesus. Our precious Saviour gave His life for our sins when He died on the cross for us. How can you and I do less that stay on the battlefield for Jesus? Don't let satan discourage you so much that you stop serving Jesus. Stay on the battlefield for Jesus just as He stayed on the cross for us.

Esther Kerr Rusthoi wrote the beautiful and inspiring hymn "It Will Be Worth It All". I love these words. "Sometimes the day seems long, Our trials hard to bear. We´re tempted to complain, to murmur and despair. But Christ will soon appear to catch his bride away! All tears forever over in God’s eternal day! It will be worth it all when we see Jesus!Life’s trials will seem so small when we see Christ. One glimpse of his dear face, all sorrow will erase. So, bravely run the race till we see Christ."

How I long for the day when we see Jesus. Are you going to see Jesus? Has there ever been a time in your life when you admitted you are a sinner, asked God to forgive you and invited Jesus into your heart to be your personal Saviour? If not, don't wait any longer. Jesus loves you so much He died for you. Open the door of your heart and let Jesus come it right now.
