 OUR REFUGE

"I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler."

Psalms 91:2- 4
King James Version

We can trust our Heavenly Father to protect us from all danger and from the attacks of satan. Rev. William Orcutt Cushing wrote one of my favorite hymns "O Safe to the Rock That Is Higher Than I".

"How oft in the conflict, when pressed by the foe, I have fled to my Refuge and breathed out my woe. How often when trials like sea billows roll Have I hidden in Thee, O Thou Rock of my soul."

I am so glad we have a Heavenly Father Who loves us even when we hurt Him. How do we hurt Him? When we do things and say words that hurt Jesus, we hurt our Heavenly Father.

Thank You, Heavenly Father, for Loving us and for being our Refuge. Please comfort all who are hurting. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
