 WHAT WILL WE SAY

"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad."

2 Corinthians 5:10
King James Version

We read in the Bible "Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:" (Psalms 139:23) Do we really want God to search our heart? Are there things that will hurt Him and break His heart?

Rev. James Edwin Orr wrote a hymn that should challenge all of us to search our heart "SEARCH ME, O GOD ".

"Search me, O God, And know my heart today; Try me, O Savior, Know my thoughts, I pray. See if there be Some wicked way in me; Cleanse me from every sin And set me free.

I praise Thee, Lord, For cleansing me from sin; Fulfill Thy Word, And make me pure within. Fill me with fire Where once I burned with shame; Grant my desire To magnify Thy name.

Lord, take my life, And make it wholly Thine; Fill my poor heart With Thy great love divine. Take all my will, My passion, self and pride; I now surrender, Lord In me abide."

Every time I think of what a horrible person I was before Jesus saved me, I stand amazed that He could love me. Charles H. Gabriel wrote a hymn that describes how I feel "I STAND AMAZED IN THE PRESENCE".

"I stand amazed in the presence Of Jesus the Nazarene, And wonder how He could love me, A sinner, condemned, unclean

O how marvelous! O how wonderful! And my song shall ever be: O how marvelous! O how wonderful! Is my Savior’s love for me!

For me it was in the garden He prayed: Not My will, but Thine. He had no tears for His own griefs, But sweat drops of blood for mine."

Thank You, precious Jesus for loving me when I was so unlovely. Thank You for dying for me on the cross and paying the price for my sins. One happy joyous day I will have the privilege of seeing You face to face ans will be with You for all eternity.
