WHAT IF

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”

What if we knew we were going to die today?  I wonder if we would watch television or would we use the day to tell our loved ones how much we love them?  Most important of all, is our heart right with God?  Are we ready to meet Him?

What does God see when He looks in our heart?  Does He see bitterness, resentment, jealousy, hatred and unforgiveness in our heart?  If He does, we are not ready to meet God.  Not only are we not ready to meet Him, we are hurting Him and breaking His heart.

May God help us to love one another unconditionally as Jesus has commanded us to love each other.  We need to remember that God still loves us when we hurt Him and He is faithful to forgive us if we will ask Him.  Don’t let the things that hurt God remain in your heart.
