GOD'S LOVE FOR US

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

John 3:16

God loves us so much He gave His beloved Son to die on the cross for our sins. How much do we love God and what are we doing to prove to our Heaveny Father that we love Him?

The best way to make God happy is to love and be kind to His Son. When Jesus left His Father to come to earth and die on the cross for us, I believe God hugged Jesus for a long time and that They cried.

O how much God and Jesus love us! Nobody loves us like They love us and nobody ever will. Their love is unconditional and unending. They loved us yesterday. They love us today and They will love us forever.  There is nothing we could ever do that would make Them stop loving us.

What a privilege it is to be part of God's family and to one day be together for all eternity. How I long for the day when Jesus comes back for us.

Bill and Gloria Gaither wrote a beautiful and inspiring hymn about being part of God's family "The Family of God".

"I'm so glad I'm a part of the Family of God, I've been washed in the fountain, cleansed by His blood! Joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod, For I'm part of the family, The Family of God.

You will notice we say "brother and sister" 'round here, It's because we're a family and these are so dear; When one has a heartache, we all share the tears, And rejoice in each victory in this family so dear.

From the door of an orphanage to the house of the King, No longer an outcast, a new song I sing; From rags unto riches, from the weak to the strong, I'm not worthy to be here, but praise God I belong!"

I love You, Heavenly Father. I love You, Jesus. I love You, Holy Spirit. Thank You for everything. Heavenly Father, please comfort and encourage all who are lonely and brokenhearted. Thank You for loving me when I was so unlovely. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
