ARE WE FAITHFUL

"Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life."

Rev. Johnson Oatman, Jr. wrote a beautiful hymn "HE’LL COME FOR ME". I love the words in this hymn.

"Soon I will hear my Lord say, Come, To dwell with Him in yonder home, And when life’s daylight fades away, He’ll come for me at close of day.

He’ll come for me, He’ll come for me, To spend with Him eternity; If here I love Him and obey, He’ll come for me at close of day.
What tho’ the way is all unknown, Yet I will not be all alone; My Savior will point out the way, And come for me at close of day.

T’ward that fair mansion in the skies, I often look with longing eyes; But tho’ God wills me now to stay, He’ll come for me at close of day.

I want to do for God my best, Before I enter into rest; Then when I leave this house of clay, He’ll come for me at close of day."

Are we faithful to Him or do we just give Him what is left over after we pursue our own interest? May God have mercy on us and forgive us if we put other things before serving Him.
