DO WE

"So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? Bill Gaither wrote a hymn that asks a question that each one of us has to answer "LOVEST THOU ME"? We can tell everyone we love Jesus, however Jesus can see in our heart and He knows if we really love Him or if we're just saying the words.

"Modern times have brought us many blessings. People live in wealth and luxury But the Master asks this question Lovest thou me, lovest thou me, more than these?

Lovest thou me, more than these my child? What will your answer be? Oh precious Lord, I love Thee more than all of these. More than fame More than wealth More than the world."

If we love money and our home, and our car more than we love Jesus, we are breaking His heart. May God have mercy on us and forgive us if we are hurting His beloved Son.
