ARE WE WILLING

"Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me."

Are we willing to go where God sends us even if it means we have to leave our home and loved ones? That is exactly what Jesus did for us. He left His Father, His home and all that He had to come to earth and die on the cross for us. How can you and I not answer the call to serve Him when He gave His life for us?

Havergal, Frances Ridley wrote one of my favorite hymns "I gave My life for thee". I'm so glad Jesus loved us enough to die on the cross for our sins.

"I gave My life for thee, My precious blood I shed, That thou mightst ransomed be, And quickened from the dead; I gave, I gave My life for thee, What hast thou done for Me? I gave, I gave My life for thee, What hast thou done for Me?

My Father's house of light, My glory-circled throne I left for earthly night, For wanderings sad and lone; I left, I left it all for thee, Hast thou left aught for Me? I left, I left it all for thee, Hast thou left aught for Me?

I suffered much for thee, More than thy tongue can tell, Of bitterest agony, To rescue thee from hell; What hast thou borne for Me? I've borne, I've borne it all for thee, What hast thou borne for Me?

Have you told Jesus that you will go where He wants you to go and that you will do what He wants you to do? If we haven't told Jesus how much we love and appreciate Him, we are hurting Him and breaking His heart.

I love You, precious Jesus and I look forward to the happy day when I will see You face to face. Thank You for everything.
