LET US ALSO REMEMBER

“After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfiilled, saith, I thirst.  Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.  When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”
John 19:28-30 KJV

As we remember the brave men and women who died trying to rescue people on 9/11, let us also remember Jesus Who willingly walked that long lonely road to Calvary and allowed them to crucify Him on the cross for our sins so we can be saved.  Thank God for those who cared enough to try and rescue people.

Precious Heavenly Father, our hearts are heavy as we remember those who died on 9/11.  Our hearts are also heavy and hurting as we remember Jesus, Your Son, willingly dying for us.  Thank You for caring and loving us so much You gave Your Son to die for us.  We love You.  In Jesus’ Name, I pray.  Amen.
