A HAPPY AND JOYOUS DAY

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. One day all of our heartaches and sorrows will be over because Jesus is coming back for us. What a happy and joyous day that will be when we have the privilege of seeing our precious Saviour face to face.

Richard Slater wrote a beautiful hymn about our precious Saviour "THERE IS COMING ON A GREAT DAY OF REJOICING". I love the words in this hymn.

"There is coming on a great day of rejoicing, When all the ransomed shall gather, Their Lord as king to crown; All earth’s sorrow and its sin then disappearing, Every heart will the Savior then own"
